Our Fine Reserve is a blend of 30% sweet apples (Rouge Duret), 30% bitter apples (Mettais, Saint Martin, Frequin and Binet Rouge) and 40% acid apples (Rambault and PetitJaune). Limpid, bright and golden in color, our Calvados is fine and complex with great intensity. It exudes apples, pears, vanilla and citrus aromas. Round and fresh in the mouth, it is best served plain or on ice, and Etienne suggests a drop of water to enhance aromas, which continue even after the glass is empty. This will be greatly appreciated by dark chocolate amateurs and cigar smokers. Enjoy!

Our Vieille Reserve is a blend of 30% sweet apples (Rouge Duret), 30% bitter apples (Mettais, Saint Martin, Frequin and Binet Rouge) and 40% acid apples (Rambault and Petit Jaune). Golden yellow with copper nuances, this spirit is pleasant, fine and slightly oaky with good complexity. The nose of apple, banana, rose and jasmine takes all its complexity after oxygenation. Smooth and balanced in the mouth, it is best served plain or on ice, and Etienne suggests a drop of water to enhance aromas, which last even after the glass is empty. Enjoy!

Opening nosing passes pick up nut/nougaty scents; plump, maple-like aromas of caramel, sap, baked apple and toasted almond emerge with aeration. Palate entry is sap-sweet, concentrated, candied and toasty; midpalate features resiny tastes of nougat, oak and palm oil. Finish is oily, woody, medium-hot and semisweet. Shows a quick furnace-blast of heat in aftertaste. Keep away from children and open flames.
