The 2006 Cerro Anon Reserva is a blend of 80% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha and 15% Mazuelo and Mazuelo that is aged for 20 months in American oak. Noticeably deep in color, the nose is very pure with notes of blackberry, violet, leather and a hint of lavender emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a citrus-fresh entry. It is very well-balanced with supple tannins and subtle leather and tobacco notes infusing the dark plum and summer berry fruit. This is a very well-crafted wine that stays true to exactly what Rioja ought to be. Excellent. Drink now-2018. Wine Advocate 92 PointsDeep ruby. Pungent aromas of cherry-vanilla, mocha and floral oils, with a smoky topnote. Lush and expansive, offering sweet red fruit flavors and a strong jolt of vanilla. Finishes smooth and sweet, with very good energy and juicy persistence. Stephen Tanzer International Wine Cellar 90 Points

Organically farmed 70-year-old Moscatel de Alejandria vines producing tiny yields. Thirty percent of the wine was barrel-fermented in neutral French oak, the rest in stainless steel. Pale straw color. Very Fresh, fragrant and mature, brimming with the aroma of Muscat grape, apple, mandarin orange and a pinch of wilted flowers. Very expressive. On the palate it is fruity and dry, with notes of citrus and a gentle finish. The finish is long, round and balanced. The fruit stays with you for a very long time. This is the ultimate fresh seafood or sushi wine.

"Lively, with a taut plum skin frame that eventually melds nicely into the core of raspberry, warm cherry compote and red currant fruit. Charcoal and chalk lend definition and length to the finish, which is well-packed, but racy overall. Drink now through 2020." Wine Spectator (90 Points)

"This is 100 percent Merlot. A firm and solid red with blackberry and mineral character. Silky tannins. Great value as always." Wine Spectator (89-90)
"I tasted this wine twice during my visit to Bordeaux and on each occasion it was a beauty. Made from 100% Merlot planted in clay and limestone soils and aged in old oak, it is an attractive, chubby, delicious, young Bordeaux bursting with raspberry and black cherry fruit. With admirable purity as well as a nice texture, it is the type of wine that Bordeaux needs to make more frequently, as it is unmistakably Bordeaux in taste and textural/aromatic profile. It also represents a great value. Enjoy it over the next 2-3 years." Wine Advocate (87-88)

The 2009 Clos de Los Siete is a nearly identical blend with the same elevage. Ripe, succulent, and impressively balanced, this outstanding value will also drink well for another 5-6 years. Wine Advocate 90 Points

This is grown on vineyards surrounding the winery's headquarters on the Bricco Bastia hill, where the high altitude and sand-rich soil give the wine great colour, fruity sensations and an interesting acid framework. Very intense ruby red, with purple highlights. Nice lingering nose, showing ripe raspberries. Appealing, soft flavour, with a finely bitterish aftertaste.

"This is a heck of a buy a baby Sancerre for sure. Domaine du Salvard 2010 Cheverny exhibits crisp, elegant notes of fresh petits pois, lemon grass, honeysuckle and citrus oil. Composed of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chardonnay (all tank-fermented and aged). Interestingly, this estate has been making wine in Cheverny since 1898!"

The blockbuster 2009 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Centenaire tastes more like a Chateauneuf du Pape than a Cotes du Rhone. Dominated by Grenache with a small amount of Syrah included in the blend, the wine possesses great intensity, a terrific texture, full-bodied power, and wonderful purity and Provencal typicity. This sensational effort is filled with red and black fruit, roasted herb, barbecue smoke, meat juice and bouquet garni characteristics. Enjoy it over the next 7-8 years or longer.
94% Cabernet, 4% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc. The Foxglove Cabernet over delivers for the price point. Dark, lush red and black fruits intermingle with earth and spice. Juicy forward texture is balanced by ripe tannins and great acidity.
The 2010 Chardonnay is one of the top values in California wine. It possesses tons of ripe, varietal fruit in a style that is quite rich but not heavy. Clean citrus and floral notes add freshness on the long finish. Lees stirring gives the wine much of its richness, while aging in steel helps maintain freshness. There is remarkable depth and textural finesse here, never mind a price that is mind-boggling for this level of quality. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014. I was blown away by the two wines I tasted from Foxglove, Bob and Jim Varner’s negociant label. The Varners clearly have the magic touch. These are among the finest values readers will find anywhere in the world.Wine Advocate 90 Points

Kenwood has produced a delicious white table wine for over three decades. Blended from a combination of grapes from Sonoma County and other California appellations, this wine has exotic aromas of passion fruit, lychee, and orange peel, complimented by a refreshing mouthfeel with zesty acidity and a hint of sweetness.
The ripe, bright fruit flavors of this versatile wine are perfect when served as an apéritif or with salads, fruit and cheese, light pasta dishes and fish.
White | Sauvignon Blanc | New Zealand | Marlborough | 750ml
Cherry red with a pinkish rim, high to medium robe. Intense aroma, predominant ripe red berries with balsamic scents, coffee, vanilla and coconut notes. Well-balanced on the palate with a silky mouthfeel, pleasant acidity that highlights a fresh and long-lasting aftertaste.
Sparkling gold yellow in colour with a delicate nose of white flowers, toasted almonds and brioche. Nice length in the mouth, this wine is fat, round and with subtle hints of coconut. A balanced and harmonious wine, it will reach it's best in 2-3 years time. A fantastic Grand Ardèche!
This unoaked wine captures the pure, clean expression of Chardonnay from our Mer Soleil Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey County. The mineral essence is reminiscent of the classic Chablis style with the tropical elements found in the Chardonnays of the Pacific Coastline. Grapes are fermented in cement tanks, without oak contact.
Red | Pinot Noir | France | Burgundy | 750ml
Bourgogne Blanc "les Setilles" comes from a blend of vineyards in the villages of Puligny-Montrachet (60%) and Meursault (40%). Meursault dominates the attack right through the mid-palate with rich fruit, honey and the unmistakable aromas of roasted nut which fades to an elegant, clean and pure finish reminiscent of a fine village level Puligny Montrachet. Wonderfully pure Chardonnay nose. Steely and well-focused on the palate, with ample grace, medium body, and good length. The tinge of tropical fruit is a reflection of the extraordinary vintage. A wine of great pleasure.
Red | Proprietary Red | France | 750ml
Opaque with ruby accents, the wine is intensely perfumed with aromas of vivid wild berry, warm spice, plum, kirsch, lavender and subtle oak nuances. The entry is juicy and penetrating with rich flavors of ripe blackberry, racy currant and blueberry that generously coat the palate. Easy drinking, the finish is long and clean with just the right amount of polished tannins to keep the fruit in focus.
Our Baby Sancerre. The Sauvignon type of vine produces a dry, fresh and sharp white wine with a powerful aroma. It has a particular flavour originating from a mixture of wood barrel, currant bushes in buds, table grapes and passion fruits.
Free Shipping on 12 Bottles or More Another top value is the 2010 Cotes du Rhone Reserve red, a blend of 50% Grenache from their vineyards at Grand Prebois (adjacent to the Beaucastel estate), 20% Syrah from further north in Vinsobres, and the balance Carignan, Cinsault and other permitted grapes. The wine offers abundant amounts of red and black fruits intermixed with hints of tobacco leaf, earthy soil, pepper and spice. This supple-textured, delicious red is exactly what one expects of a very good Cotes du Rhone. Wine Advocate

White | Pinot Grigio | Italy | Alto Adige | 750ml
San Pietro Pinot Grigio comes from vineyards in the Bassa Atesina hills of the Alto Adige, an area long known for their superb white wines and offering the ideal growing conditions for this particular varietal. This wine is fuller in colour than other wines of the Alto Adige, full but soft to the palate with a good acidic balance with a slight note of ripe fruit. The aroma is of tropical fruit and honey. Truly lovely wine!
Red | Monastrell | Spain | 750ml

The opaque purple-colored 2010 Tarima Hill exhibits notes of chocolate fudge, pen ink, graphite, blueberries and blackberries. This full-bodied, 100% Monastrell should drink well for a decade or more. These amazing efforts taste more like they should cost $30 to $50 as opposed to the mid-teens. Bodega Volver, a joint project between Rafael Canizares and Jorge Ordonez, produces wines from three appellations, La Mancha, Alicante and Jumilla. Readers will need to take note of the nearly identical cuvees, some of which are made from organic grapes and others from non-organic grapes. That information is clearly marked on the labels. Slightly more expensive are the 2010 and 2009 Tarima Hill. These cuvees come from the winery's oldest vines (20 acres of ungrafted vines that were planted in 1935) planted on the highest elevations.

"Amazing quality for a simple Chianti. Beautiful character of sliced ripe strawberries and lemons follow through to a full body, with bright acidity and a silky finish. Firm silky tannins come through. Give it a little more time to come together. Shows the excellent quality of the vintage."?James Suckling (90 Points)
"The 2011 Chianti is another terrific, value-priced red. Sweet cherries, flowers and spices are some of the notes that jump from the glass in this vinous, fruit-forward Chianti." Wine Advocate (88 Points)
Red | Proprietary Blend | United States | California | 750ml
This OPR blend is predominantly Zinfandel blended with Petite Sirah, Carignaneand Tempranillo, resulting in a very fruity and Rhone-like wine. The wine has a dark red color with intense dark cherry aromas, blueberries and cherry cola as an immediate impression. With aeration, nuances of vanilla appear with maple and cocoa and show a slight dose of oak and toast. On the mouth, the wine is fresh and juicy with youthful brightness, finishing long and fruity. Our 2010 OPR is delicious now but it will reward your patience with 2-3 years of aging. Cheers!

Lively like the look in your eyes, sweet like a kiss.Very fine gold color with a green sheen. Its nose has a flowery fruity bouquet. Being pure and honest it is seducer from the outset. Flowers flit around, trees bend down to give their most beautiful fruits to us and the air we breathe is so sweet in this garden full of sweetness that it is intoxicating. Lively, supple and welcoming taste. Predominantly honest in a welcoming balance, it reflects a pretty grape, a fine harvest in the singing and laughter of the men and women pickers. It tells us of work well done in the divine order and Nature's kindness. It is fair, and all one expected and to cap it all there is happiness there.

100% Grand Cru estate-bottled Pinot Noir from the village of Bouzy that is aged six years on its lees; offers full-throttle strawberry, wheat kernel, and stone flavors along with a pleasing touch of cream in the mid-palate and finish - an excellent accompaniment to creamy pastas, poultry and richer seafoods.

A round, fruit-powered, appealing mix of delicious citrus, berry and plum flavors. Highlights of orange peel and baking spices are underscored by bracing acidity. Grapes are entirely from the Clawson Creek estate vineyard. Wine Enthusiast 90 Points
The nose shows lovely rosehip, black cherry and black currant, with deep wood and vanilla spice. The wine has flavors of bing cherry and black fruits with a delicacy and finesse that is appealing and reminiscent of the structure and elegance of a great Bordeaux. The full fruit finish, supple, weighty tannins and long finish add to the complexity of this wine.

(70% garnacha, 25% carinena and 5% cabernet sauvignon, aged for 16 months in small French oak): Bright purple. Powerful aromas of blackberry, blueberry and Asian spices. Weighty dark berry flavors display a liqueur-like depth, with zesty minerality providing lift. Smooth tannins give support and grip to a long, sweet, penetrating finish.
Red | Pinot Noir | United States | Anderson Valley, California | 750ml
A blend of numerous clones including Pommard, Mt. Eden, Martini, and Dijon clones from Donnelly Creek, Savoy, and Wiley vineyards in the Anderson Valley Appellation. The 2010 immediately displays the classic hallmarks of Anderson Valley Pinot Noir – an intense aromatic core of black cherry and pomegranate with more subtle notes of forest floor and wild sage. The palate is a lovely blend of sweet black fruits and spicy toast that build on the elegantly defined tannins to give a supple mouthfeel and rewarding finish.
With the goal of expressing a comprehensive expression of the appellation, we selected five unique vineyard sites to create this Sta. Rita Hills bottling. This blend is comprised of Mount Carmel, 3-D, Gnesa, Sea Smoke and Zotovich. While each lot is handled separately and in a completely uniform fashion in the winery, each contributes vastly different expressions which ultimately harmonize in the finished wine.
"The 2010 Chardonnay is gorgeous. Juicy apricots, pears, flowers and a hint of spices are woven together in this beautifully layered Chardonnay. Brewer-Clifton’s 2010 Chardonnay is a great wine for the money and an equally fabulous introduction to the house style. The fruit sources are Mt. Carmel, Sweeney Canyon, 3-D, Gnesa and a touch of Zotovich." Wine Advocate (91 Points)

"The 2010 Le Gay is performing sensationally, even better than my wildly enthusiastic tasting notes from barrel might have predicted. Inky opaque purple, and presenting a formidable and foreboding nose of camphor, black truffles, graphite, blueberries and blackberries as well as hints of smoked meats and floral nuances. Just about everything seems to be present in this smorgasbord of aromatics delights. The wine hits the palate with power, richness and purity, full-bodied texture, and enormous intensity, and I was somewhat shocked at the natural alcohol. In a vintage that routinely hit 14.5 to 15% for the Merlot-dominated wines, it was only 13.5% at Le Gay. The final blend is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. This wine needs at least 8-10 years of cellaring, based on its masculinity and structure, and should easily eclipse 20-40 years in a good cellar. This tiny gem of a property has been pushing the quality envelope aggressively since it was purchased by proprietress Catherine Pere-Verge in 2004, and it has hit pay dirt in 2010."Wine Advocate 99 Points

Beautiful light pink color. On the nose, fantastic bouquet with delicate aromas of white fruits, just-picked strawberries and floral notes. The mouth is complex with raspberry and wild strawberry notes, wild herbs, citrus, wet-stones flavors. It has a refreshing acidity...and a round, long and vibrant finish.

I certainly underrated the 2010 Pape Clement from barrel, rating it only 93-95+. (Thank God I put a “plus” there!) Having tasted it four times in Bordeaux, and rating it perfect three times and 99 the fourth time, this final blend of 51% Merlot, 47.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1.5% Petit Verdot is perfection in a bottle. Tipping the scales at 14.5% natural alcohol, there are 8,000 cases of it. Its sublime elegance, the power, the medium to full-bodied texture, the silky tannins, the subtle notes of smoke, lead pencil shavings, black currants, charcoal, camphor, blueberry and cassis fruit are all remarkable. It is a rich, full-throttle wine, but the elegance and the great terroir of Pape Clement come through in abundance. It is slightly more developed and evolved than the 2005 was at a similar point in its evolution, but it certainly needs another 5-7 years to develop further nuances, which it surely will. This wine will last 30-40+ years. Kudos to proprietor Bernard Magrez, who has built an empire based on high quality more than any other characteristic.Wine Advocate 100 Points

An absolutely amazing wine, from grapes harvested between the end of September and October 17, this blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot has close to 15% natural alcohol. It comes from one of the few biodynamic vineyards in Bordeaux, but you are likely to see many more, given the success that Tesseron seems to be having at all levels, both in his vineyards and in his fermentation/winemaking. An astounding, compelling wine with the classic Pauillac nose more often associated with its cross-street neighbor, Mouton-Rothschild, creme de cassis, there are also some violets and other assorted floral notes. The wine has off-the-charts massiveness and intensity but never comes across as heavy, overbearing or astringent. The freshness, laser-like precision, and full-bodied, massive richness and extract are simply remarkable to behold and experience. It is very easy, to become jaded tasting such great wines from a great vintage, but it is really a privilege to taste something as amazing as this. Unfortunately, it needs a good decade of cellaring, and that’s assuming it doesn’t close down over the next few years. This is a 50- to 75-year wine from one of the half-dozen or so most compulsive and obsessive proprietors in all of Bordeaux. Is there anything that proprietor Alfred Tesseron is not doing right? Talk about an estate that is on top of its game! Pontet-Canet’s 2010 is a more structured, tannic and restrained version of their most recent perfect wine, the 2009. Kudos to Pontet-Canet!Wine Advocate 100 Points

A powerful, direct wine, the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon hits the palate with a blast of dark cherries, plums, violets and spice box. Cuv?e Marie Antoinette is created with a fresh, youthful profile in mind. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel tank with only about 25% of the total blend seeing any time in oak. The wine has white flower aromas and round, fresh, mineral flavors on the palate, with a clean and balanced character. The resulting wine is pleasing, refreshing and crisp on the palate. Edoardo Seghesio planted this vineyard in 1895 on the western benchlands of the Alexander Valley, those original vines accounting for about one-third of this zin. The cool 2010 season created this complex blend with petite sirah (9 percent), a wine that develops floral scents over layers of tar, black currant and crushed black pepper. Saturated with flavor, this is ready to decant now; if you cellar it, wait ten years or more for the secondary flavors to develop.Wine & Spirits 93 Points

"The 2007 Sophia’s Cuvee (a 8,000-case blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec) is a big-time sleeper of the vintage. I am sure this wine can be found for $25.00 or less a bottle. An outstanding example of Napa Bordeaux varietals, it displays loads of white chocolate, creme de cassis, licorice, and a touch of subtle smoke in a medium to full-bodied style. Silky tannins, flesh, and plenty of concentration characterize this wine, which has no hard edges. It is a beauty to drink over the next 5-7 years." Wine Advocate (90)
