Lively like the look in your eyes, sweet like a kiss.Very fine gold color with a green sheen. Its nose has a flowery fruity bouquet. Being pure and honest it is seducer from the outset. Flowers flit around, trees bend down to give their most beautiful fruits to us and the air we breathe is so sweet in this garden full of sweetness that it is intoxicating. Lively, supple and welcoming taste. Predominantly honest in a welcoming balance, it reflects a pretty grape, a fine harvest in the singing and laughter of the men and women pickers. It tells us of work well done in the divine order and Nature's kindness. It is fair, and all one expected and to cap it all there is happiness there.

The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition is a blend of 75% Grenache and the rest mostly Syrah and Mourvedre with small amounts of Counoise, Vaccarese and Cinsault, all aged in foudres. It possesses a wonderful earthy/garrigue character in addition to abundant kirsch, lavender and black raspberry fruit. This full-bodied 2011 should drink beautifully for a decade. Wine Advocate 90-92 Points
Composed of 85% Grenache and the rest equal parts Syrah and Mourvedre, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Chante Le Merle Vieilles Vignes emanates from four separate old vine parcels located in Pignan, Mont Redon, Les Grands Galiguieres and La Gardine. A candidate for the wine of the vintage, the 2011 exhibits a shockingly rich dense purple color as well as sensational notes of blackberries, licorice, cassis, nori (the seafood wrapper used in sushi restaurants), pepper and roasted meats. It is a full-throttle, massive Chateauneuf du Pape with silky tannins, decent acidity and a long finish. This is a killer wine! It should age effortlessly for 10-15 years. Wine Advocate 92-94 Points

Bright red. Aromas of ripe red fruit (cherry, raspberry, red currant). A fleshy palate where tasty fruit and tannins intermingle very nicely.

Established since 1968, Roquebrun's wine cellars are situated in the Haut Languedoc National Park, 30km north of Béziers and between the two regional capitals of Montpellier and Toulouse. The vineyards are spread over an area of 500 hectares of south facing, schistose hillsides. The Terrasses du Frigoulet is made from vineyards with argilo limestone and pebbles, and is made from hand harvested, de-stemmed fruit. The final blend for the 2011 was comprised of 35% Carignan, 30% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 15% Mourvedre from 100% estate bottled fruit. Serve this well-made 'country' red with roasted chicken, grilled sausages, soups and stews, or with an afternoon lunch of fine cheeses, chicken truffle pâté and green salad with olives and tomatoes.
"A big red, powerful and concentrated, with mulberry, dark plum, blackberry and baked cherry flavors which feature notes of bacon fat and smoke. Dark chocolate pervades the muscular finish. Drink now through 2018. Tasted twice, with consistent notes."

The Bordeaux Blanc of Château Ducasse isvery different from others from their appellations: Hervé blends a high proportion of Sémillon (60%) and a splash of Muscadelle (5%) with Sauvignon Blanc (35%), creating a rich, full, aromatic mid-palate to complement the clean finish. These are the perfect go-to whites that pair well with anything from fish to poultry, picnic fare to Indian curries.

"An impressive effort, this 2011 exhibits a dense saturated ruby/purple color along with lots of graphite, black currant and camphor notes, medium to full body, and surprising depth, richness and length. Tannins are present, but they are relatively sweet and unobtrusive. A crisp character gives the wine vibrancy as well as impressive delineation. It should drink well for 15+ years." Wine Advocate (91-93 Points)

"Moreau’s 2011 Chablis is showing some tightness because of its recent bottling, two weeks before this tasting, but it appears to have more freshness and verve than the 2010. Citrus and white floral notes give the 2011 much of its vibrancy and focus." Wine Advocate (88 Points)
"A mix of apple, honey, herb and earth notes highlights this rich white. Balanced, finishing with a touch of smoke." Wine Spectator (88 Points)

Organically produced. La Digoine can be drunk very young. Within two or three months of bottling, it demonstrates immediate appeal with red berry fruit and a balance of roundness, structure, and length on the palate. La Digoine will continuously improve over the next ten years, revealing the deep, complex aromas worthy of a great burgundy. Depending on cellar conditions, we recommanded twelve to fifteen years of aging.

One of Touraine’s most consistent performers has produced yet another fine wine in 2011. Aromas of melon, stone fruit and bell pepper hint at the mouth filling ripeness on the palate to come. There is a lovely roundness to the palate which is initially dominated by ripe tropical passionfruit, leading to a fresh citrus finish. This is a wine with very wide appeal and a guaranteed success when entertaining guests.

"This is a heck of a buy a baby Sancerre for sure. Domaine du Salvard 2010 Cheverny exhibits crisp, elegant notes of fresh petits pois, lemon grass, honeysuckle and citrus oil. Composed of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chardonnay (all tank-fermented and aged). Interestingly, this estate has been making wine in Cheverny since 1898!"

Pale yellow. Aromas of fresh pit fruits and tangerine, with a spicy overtone. Juicy and precise on the palate, offering sappy nectarine and orange zest flavors and a hint of vanilla. Finishes smooth and spicy, with very good clarity and length.

This is a pale yellow colored wine, offering fruity nose intermingled with vegetal aromas such as boxwood and blackcurrant bud evolving toward floral scents (acacia). The initial frank attack evolves into a rich and round mouth. It is best served chilled and accompanies salmon and other fish in sauce to perfection.
Hippolyte Reverdy's Sancerre displays the ripeness of its vintage with amplitude and a bit of heat, but fresh honeydew as well as lime and grapefruit accompany the corresponding bittersweet oils; and salty, stony, chalky underlying notes that convey a certain sense of coolness as well as invigoration.
