This Pommard 1er Cru “Clos Micault” has a beautiful garnet color. Elegant to the nose, it develops aromas of back fruits, coffee and vanilla, supported by soft spice and pepper notes. Fleshy and supple in the mouth, its tannins are well incorporated, the wooden notes are subtle and the finish lingers forever…

“The 2009 Beaune Cent-Vignes is gorgeous. Juicy dark cherries, flowers, mint and minerals come to life in the glass in this deep, expressive wine. The tannins are quite firm and the structure is imposing, so readers will have to be patient. There is little doubt the Cent-Vignes will be stellar in a few years. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.” Wine Advocate (91+)

This estate is widely considered one the finest red wine estates in Beaune. It is often the last estate to harvest demanding perfectly ripe skins and implements a severe green harvest every vintage.

Powerful yet harmonious, this rich red delivers black cherry, licorice, fresh herb, smoke and mineral flavors that mingle seamlessly over firm, well-integrated tannins, while balsamic-tinged acidity drives the flavors through the long, spicy finish. Drink now through 2025. 900 cases made. Wine Spectator 95 Points
Red | Chardonnay | France | Burgundy | 750ml
Typical aromas, with fruit and floral notes. A very perfumed, silky and elegant wine. To be drunk preferably in its youth for its freshness. Will deliciously accompany freshwater fish, shellfish of all kinds, pâtés and terrines.
"A similar if more complex nose also offers up notes of straw, melon and citrus where the latter continues onto the rich, generous and rather fleshy medium-bodied flavors that possess good dry extract levels and fine finishing intensity. This will be approachable young." Burghound (88)
Red | Bordeaux | France | Bordeaux | 750ml
This is packed with maduro tobacco, espresso and baker's chocolate flavors, joined by dark currant and plum fruit, but the edges are sleek and the finish nicely woven with roasted alder and bay notes. This shows nice range, and should blossom with mid-term cellaring. Best from 2013 through 2020. 6,500 cases made.Wine Spectator 91 Points
"Showing far superior from bottle than it did from barrel, the proprietor (the same as the famous military and corporate jet manufacturer) has turned out a sexy, opulent, fruit-laden wine with an abundance of black cherries, black currants, spring flowers and some background earth and licorice. This is a lusty, flamboyant and extroverted style of wine to drink over the next 10-15 years." Wine Advocate (90 Points)
"A good value among over-achieving St.-Emilion estates is La Fleur Cardinale’s 2009. Composed of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, some of the abrasive tannins noticeable early on in this big wine (14.5% alcohol) are now sweeter and better integrated. Made from tiny yields of 30 hectoliters per hectare, this is a concentrated, rich effort revealing lots of black cherry and black currant fruit as well as a fragrant, firm, full-bodied personality. It should be at its best between 2016 and 2030." Wine Advocate (94 Points)
The 2009 Fombrauge has the potential to be the finest wine ever made at this property. Michel Rolland is the consulting oenologist in the vineyard, which sits in the southern sector of St.-Emilion known as St.-Christophe des Bardes. It was picked very late in 2009, and the result is a powerhouse wine with an inky blue/purple color and the smell of pen ink, acacia flowers, blueberries, black raspberries and cassis. The wine hit 15% natural alcohol, which gives it lots of glycerin as well as a full-bodied intensity, while the low yields of 27 hectoliters per hectare have provided a striking level of concentration and length. This is very serious wine from an estate that is on the upswing. It should benefit from 3-5 years of cellaring and keep for two decades. Fombrauge is the flagship St.-Emilion estate of Bernard Magrez.Robert Parker 92 Points
A sensational wine from this Pessac-Leognan estate, the 2009 possesses notes of charcoal, graphite, roasted herbs, truffles, spice box, and luxurious quantities of black currant and black cherry fruit. Full-bodied, impressively endowed. and well under the radar for most consumers, this outstanding wine is a sleeper of the vintage and well worth buying. It should drink well for 15 or more years.Robert Parker 91 Points
Wine Spectator #69 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2012The best ever wine from this estate (even better than their sensational 2005), this full-bodied wine offers notes of blueberry, black currant, asphalt and burning charcoal embers in a deep, layered and multi-dimensional style. It is impressively pure and well-built, with far greater concentration and length than I ever remember this wine having in the past. Forget it for 5 years and drink it over the following three decades.Robert Parker 93 Points
Nicely focused, with dark plum, black currant and steeped black cherry fruit melded with charcoal, black tea and mocha. The long finish is plush in feel, but stays restrained. Drink now through 2021. 4,330 cases made.Wine Spectator 90 Points
Potentially the best Siran I have ever tasted and another unqualified sleeper of the vintage, this dense purple wine displays notes of scorched embers, vanillin, black currants, spring flowers and graphite. Medium to full-bodied, with stunning concentration, purity, texture and length, the 2009 Siran has plenty of tannin lurking beneath its luxurious fruit. Give it 2-3 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 20+ years.Robert Parker 90 Points
Red | Cabernet Sauvignon | United States | California | 750ml
Classic Cabernet notes of cassis and ripe Bing cherry are followed by touches of vanilla, spice cabinet, and a hint of spring rain showers. Vibrant, yet supple, tannins frame the mixed berry flavors while accents of glazed walnuts and fresh tilled loam complement the long finish.

This solid red delivers dark plum, black currant and fig notes, supported by iron, charcoal and tobacco. A nice stony edge lingers on the finish. Drink now. 200 cases imported.
White | Chardonnay | France | Burgundy | 750ml
This vineyard is 7 acres with 20 year old vines. The wine is light yellow in color with a faint golden hue. It has a gorgeous perfume with floral and citrus nuances and is finesseful and balanced with floral and citrus notes and a lovely crisp finish.
Incredible purity and class on the nose—discreet, complex, a hint of vanilla and white flower blossoms. The palate is dry and round without a hint of sucrosity.

"Sometimes in a challenging vintage such as 2009, it is the least expensive, blended wines that benefit most, perhaps because grapes normally destined for the single-vineyard wines are redirected. Here, rich fruit flavors highlighted with streaks of caramel and toffee get things rolling quickly. Berries and cherries, firm acids, pretty spice and a lingering butterscotch finish." Wine Enthusiast 91 Points"The Serene 2009 Pinot Noir Yamhill Cuvee offers sweeter red berry flavors than does the corresponding 2010, with brown spice accents and nicely integrated tannic chew. Pure-fruited and with ample finishing juiciness, this betrays none of its vintage’s weak sides and ought to drink well for another several years." Wine Advocate

Red | Zinfandel | United States | California | 750ml
OVC – our multi-appellation blend – pulls fruit from every one of the top five Zinfandel appellations in California. By themselves, they’re news worthy. Together, well, we’re gonna stick with the tried and true: unbeatable. On the nose the wine has layers of berry fruit and anise aromas with hints of spice. On the palate, blackberry and spicy plum fruit with a rich mouth feel. Big and opulent on the mid palate with plenty of structure, trailing to a velvety toasted oak finish.
Deep, intense black fruit, bright acidity and long gorgeous flavors are a hallmark of this long growing season and a reason to celebrate the intense effort and sacrifice it took to get there. The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic. Made to accompany that herb-crusted standing rib roast, it surely will not disappoint.
