Heba was the ancient Greek name for the town of Magliano used by the Etruscans.?On the nose, Heba possesses fragrant aromas of red berries. It is fresh and expressive on the palate, with fruity flavors of red and black berries. Well-balanced and structured with smooth, sweet tannins rounding out the finish by creating a soft mouthfeel.
"This racy, sexy Morellino needs to be enjoyed over the next few years while the fruit retains its juicy, forward personality. The 2010 is a great Heba, and a stunning value. Once again, the Heba is one of the very finest bargains readers will find in all of Italy." Wine Advocate (90 Points)

A cuvée of Traminer and Sauvignon Blanc, it is perfectly suited to the Maremma micro-climate. Poggio Argentato is a white wine with a French accent and a very feminine style… capable of combining the Maremma sunshine and the elegance of the great northern vineyards.
"The 2010 Poggio Argentato reveals striking focus, purity and vibrancy in a clean, mineral-driven style. Citrus peel and white flowers linger on the textured finish." Wine Advocate (89 Points)

"The 2005 is a lithe, silky-textured Carbonaione, with perfumed aromatics and an attractive core of ripe red fruits. In 2005 the harvest season saw a full week of rain, which can be felt in the wine’s smaller scale. Today it comes across as lacking the stuffing of the finest vintages, but this is a wine that ages well, especially in cooler years, and I am confident that will be the case here as well. For now, the wine requires at least another year or two in bottle to absorb the toasted oak that is prominent at this stage. Interestingly, the 2005 shows more overt oak aromas and flavors than the 2006, which was taken directly from barrel, no doubt owing to the quality of the fruit. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2020" Wine Advocate (91 Points)
Straw-yellow in color with stimulating aromas of spice, white flowers, dried apricots, fresh peach, and thyme; this silky, layered wine continues to unfold into the finish. Grown in hillside vineyards surrounding the Tuscan town of San Gimignano, this wine is composed entirely from Vernaccia grapes. The grapes are chilled immediately following harvest and vinified at a very low temperature in cement vats, so that the final wine exudes a fresh, lively character. Since the 2004 vintage, this wine has been made from USDA-certified organically grown grapes.
