"The 2009 Blend is made up of Bonarda and Malbec that spent 8 months in barrique. Made in a racy style with lively acidity, this medium-bodied offering has ample savory fruit, a smooth texture, and good balance. Drink this excellent value over the next 5-6 years." Wine Advocate (90 Points)
Red | Proprietary Red | Argentina | Uco Valley | 750ml
The 2011 Urban Uco is a blend of 50% Tempranillo and 50% Malbec that spent 3 months in oak. Deep purple in color, with an inviting bouquet of smoke, blackberry, and blueberry, on the palate it is loaded with flavor, depth, and length. This stunning overachiever may be the finest value in my Argentina tastings. Buy it by the case.
Shows jammy berry aromas backed by plump black berry and strawberry flavors. Solid and flush throughout with surprising softness.
