“The 2009 Beaune Cent-Vignes is gorgeous. Juicy dark cherries, flowers, mint and minerals come to life in the glass in this deep, expressive wine. The tannins are quite firm and the structure is imposing, so readers will have to be patient. There is little doubt the Cent-Vignes will be stellar in a few years. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.” Wine Advocate (91+)

(70% garnacha, 25% carinena and 5% cabernet sauvignon, aged for 16 months in small French oak): Bright purple. Powerful aromas of blackberry, blueberry and Asian spices. Weighty dark berry flavors display a liqueur-like depth, with zesty minerality providing lift. Smooth tannins give support and grip to a long, sweet, penetrating finish.

"The 2009 Camins del Priorat possesses an intriguing, alluring bouquet with lifted aromas of damson, red currant and pressed flowers that unfurl with a few swirls of the glass. The full-bodied palate is defined by its fleshy tannins on the entry, yet its corpulence does not obscure its attractive minerally core. The sappy finish grips the mouth, and its backbone suggests it will benefit from 3 to 5 year’s aging." Wine Advocate (90 Points)

"A very strong effort for the vintage, this dark ruby/purple-hued 2007 reveals notes of sandalwood, spice box, black currants, sweet cherries, and truffles. Spicy, round, and generous with a nicely layered mouthfeel, velvety tannins, and a surprisingly long, authoritative finish, it will provide plenty of pleasure over the next 10-12 years." (70% grenache, 20% syrah and 10% mourvedre): Glass-staining ruby. Sexy, highly perfumed bouquet evokes candied red fruits, potpourri and anise, with a spicy topnote. Bright and focused on the palate, but with a seamless texture to its sweet raspberry, cherry and lavender pastille flavors. In a very suave style, with excellent finishing clarity and persistent florality.Stephen Tanzer International Wine Cellar 91 Points

Like elephants whose size is imposing, Petite Petit is large! A blend of 85% Petite Sirah and 15% Petit Verdot, offering a joyous explosion of color and fun! It is a substantial, dense, full-bodied, whopper style of wine loaded with pure black fruit and vanilla flavors that coat the palate. It reveals remarkable richness with a finish that is slightly dry and seems to linger.
Beautiful, deep ruby core with a lighter ruby/purple rim. The aroma is of rich red and black fruit of cherry, ripe strawberry and blackcurrant, framed by subtle vanilla and brown spice with cedar, tobacco and pencil shaving highlights. On the palate, bright red cherry, blackcurrant and a touch of strawberry jam are framed by leather, cedar and graphite with background spice of vanilla, cinnamon and just a touch of white pepper. The finish is exceptionally balanced and complex with subtle, lingering fruit that makes you want another sip.
This wine is more reminiscent of a Saint Emilion Grand Cru, with rich, ripe Merlot aromas of black fruits, vanilla, oak, and soil.? A blend of modern and traditional styles with a bouquet of ripe black and red fruits on the palate with a smooth, richly earthy mid-palate that shows ample structure and a lengthy finish of ripe fruit mingling with the tannins. It is a richly elegant and sophisticated wine, reasonably priced, that does not need a special event to be enjoyed. 210 Cases Imported

"The 2009 Mongrana shows off an attractive pliancy and radiance to its red fruit that makes it an excellent choice for near-term drinking. Sweet floral and spice notes add an attractive brightness to the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014." Wine Advocate (88 Points)
Mongrana is the quintessential expression of the colors, sights and sounds of the Maremma region: fruity and intense, fresh and embracing. A blend of Sangiovese (50%); Merlot (25%); Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) from a biodynamically farmed estate.

Wine & Spirits 95 points: Passagem 2007 wine is a full bodied, seductive wine with great balance and freshness often hard to achieve in wines from the hotter Douro Superior. Like all of Jorge's Wines, it has good equilibrium and definition. Very aromatic with black fruit flavours, rounded tannins and good complexity, the wine lingers on the palate. Undoubtedly the best wine we have made from this new project, it is showing very well now and has a good potential for ageing.
"The 2009 Guidalberto flows across the palate with layers of radiant red fruit. This is another striking, supple Guidalberto loaded with personality. Stylistically it is quite close to the 2007, but with perhaps a touch less body but equally silky, polished tannins. Freshly cut roses, spices and a burst of pure red berries add nuance on the finish. Guidalberto is no longer the stunning value it once was, but it is quite gorgeous in this vintage just the same. This is easily one of the best vintages I can recall tasting." Wine Advocate (92+ Points)

"Sweet floral aromatics emerge from the 2006 Gattinara. This deceptively medium-bodied wine shows good depth in its red fruit, but at times comes across as a touch fragile and fleeting. Nevertheless, it is an attractive, representative Gattinara well-suited for drinking over the next few years." Wine Advocate (91 Points)
70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah The 2009 Treana Red, our flagship wine, has a deeply extracted, ruby hue and displays up-front aromas of ripe, dark fruit and exotic spice. Depth and power come from the Cabernet, while a Syrah component lends inviting fleshiness. The wine's full mouthfeel leads to a silky, lasting finish. Luxurious and well balanced now, the 2009 Treana Red will continue to age beautifully for the next 10-12 years.
A wine with soft and silky tannins and very pretty fruit with delicate milk chocolate and currants. Full body, with fine tannins. Made mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon. Better in 2012. James Suckling 92 Points
Deep ruby. Intense aromas of cherry-cola, woodsmoke and dried flowers, accented by peppery spice. Juicy and focused, with very good clarity to its bitter cherry and blackcurrant flavors. Shows impressive vivacity on the finish, which clings with serious spicy tenacity.Stephen Tanzer International Wine Cellar 91 Points:
