Lively like the look in your eyes, sweet like a kiss.Very fine gold color with a green sheen. Its nose has a flowery fruity bouquet. Being pure and honest it is seducer from the outset. Flowers flit around, trees bend down to give their most beautiful fruits to us and the air we breathe is so sweet in this garden full of sweetness that it is intoxicating. Lively, supple and welcoming taste. Predominantly honest in a welcoming balance, it reflects a pretty grape, a fine harvest in the singing and laughter of the men and women pickers. It tells us of work well done in the divine order and Nature's kindness. It is fair, and all one expected and to cap it all there is happiness there.

2011 both late, and a cooler year has turned out to be a sexy wine. I suspect that in many ways, 2011 will behave like 2006, being precocious and delicious, but not as long-lived as some of its siblings. These wines appear to have 20-30 years of aging potential, although the sweet spot for drinking them appears to be between age 8 and 15. Robert Parker Wine Advocate 95 Points
Red | Cabernet Sauvignon | United States | California | 750ml
Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is fashioned in a fruit forward, easy to drink style, yet it reveals admirable complexity and length. Aged for ten months in French and American oak, this medium-bodied wine has a deep garnet hue and aromas of pepper, lush black cherry, blackberry and vanilla. The rich black cherry and plum flavors are layered with hints of vanilla, smoke, bramble, herbal notes and creamy oak that linger on the palate. The finish is soft and lingering with bold, structured texture and integrated tannins complementing the intense fruit.
This Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium brick red color which illustrates the length of barrel aging. This fine North Coast Cab is elegant in its forward ripe bing cherry profile. There is a fine sweet brown sugar note behind the fruit which provides depth before folding into some earthy peppery tones with leather and truffle notes. The palate is super rich and juicy with dark fruit flavors, cassis, plum and integrated cherry vanilla flavors which finish supple and silky.

For years, evangelists asked us to create a non chill-filtered, cask strength edition of our acclaimed Auchentoshan classic. Valinch was born. The Valinch being the name of the pipette used to draw whisky straight from the cask. An appropriate name for a whisky with all the depth of taste, flavour and texture associated with sampling whisky at source. An unadulterated small batch release.

A classic Cabernet in structure and flavor, Auspicion Cabernet Sauvignon is loaded with juicy black fruit and ripe berries, balanced by silky tannins. The lingering finish is accented by touches of chocolate, toffee, and vanilla. Full in body, this is a complex wine that is ready to drink upon release, yet will continue to develop in bottle for up to 5 years. "Blended with 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc.Beautiful deep red color with perfumed aromas of ripe black cherries, strawberries and roasted cocoa beans. This wine is full-bodied and incredibly lush for a young Cabernet. It explodes on the palate with red and black fruits, then shows baking spices on its way to a mouthwatering finish. Pairs with a wide range of foods including beef, sausages, spiced or grilled pork, veal, rabbit, medium-strong cheeses, and meat-based pasta sauces."

Opaque ruby. Ripe blackberry and boysenberry aromas are complemented by deeper-pitched notes of mocha and licorice. At once rich and lively, offering vibrant dark fruit preserve flavors and a kick of peppery spices. Smooth, seamless and sweet on the very persistent finish, which leaves notes of blueberry and espresso behind." Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar 91 Points

Red | Tempranillo | Spain | La Mancha | 750ml
"From holdings in La Mancha, the 2011 Volver (100% Tempranillo that spent 18 months in new French oak prior to being bottled unfiltered) is a 2,000-case cuvée that comes from a single vineyard. Abundant notes of acacia flowers intermixed with black currants and blackberries are offered in a flavorful, medium-bodied, slightly spicy format. A nicely textured mouthfeel, sweet tannin and a long finish suggest this stunning value will drink well for 3-4 years. Wines such as this normally sell for $30-$50 a bottle, but this beauty is priced just over $16." Robert Parker 91 Points

Red | Grenache | Spain | Campo de Borja | 750ml
"This has long been a popular source for value-priced wines. Founded in 1958 in the appellation of Campo de Borja, Borsao owns a whopping 3,706 acres of vineyards planted at elevations of 1,300 to 2,300 feet above sea level. The soils are primarily limestone-based and the area is highly reputed for old vine Grenache, but there is also Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah planted as well as a few white varietals. The 2011 Tres Picos offers gorgeous strawberry and black cherry fruit intermixed with notions of powdery chalk, pepper and spice. Lusciously fruity and medium to full-bodied with heady glycerin and richness, it should drink nicely for 3-4 years." Robert Parker 90 Points
Red | Chateauneuf du Pape | France | Rhone | 750ml
The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition is a blend of 75% Grenache and the rest mostly Syrah and Mourvedre with small amounts of Counoise, Vaccarese and Cinsault, all aged in foudres. It possesses a wonderful earthy/garrigue character in addition to abundant kirsch, lavender and black raspberry fruit. This full-bodied 2011 should drink beautifully for a decade. Wine Advocate 90-92 Points
Composed of 85% Grenache and the rest equal parts Syrah and Mourvedre, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Chante Le Merle Vieilles Vignes emanates from four separate old vine parcels located in Pignan, Mont Redon, Les Grands Galiguieres and La Gardine. A candidate for the wine of the vintage, the 2011 exhibits a shockingly rich dense purple color as well as sensational notes of blackberries, licorice, cassis, nori (the seafood wrapper used in sushi restaurants), pepper and roasted meats. It is a full-throttle, massive Chateauneuf du Pape with silky tannins, decent acidity and a long finish. This is a killer wine! It should age effortlessly for 10-15 years. Wine Advocate 92-94 Points

White | Cortese | Italy | Gavi | 750ml
"The 2011 Gavi di Gavi La Meirana is a serious, intense wine loaded with yellow-fleshed fruit. This is a decidedly rich vintage for the Meirana." Wine Advocate (88 Points)
The wine is brimming with fruit aromas and flavors biased to the black fruit end of the Cabernet spectrum: plums, blackberry, black currant. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, our Cabernet drinks well on release but will soften and develop with additional age. For those who seek youthful fresh Cabernet fruit aromas and a more structured wine, drink now.
