White | Pinot Grigio | Italy | Alto Adige | 750ml
San Pietro Pinot Grigio comes from vineyards in the Bassa Atesina hills of the Alto Adige, an area long known for their superb white wines and offering the ideal growing conditions for this particular varietal. This wine is fuller in colour than other wines of the Alto Adige, full but soft to the palate with a good acidic balance with a slight note of ripe fruit. The aroma is of tropical fruit and honey. Truly lovely wine!

Straw-yellow in color with stimulating aromas of spice, white flowers, dried apricots, fresh peach, and thyme; this silky, layered wine continues to unfold into the finish. Grown in hillside vineyards surrounding the Tuscan town of San Gimignano, this wine is composed entirely from Vernaccia grapes. The grapes are chilled immediately following harvest and vinified at a very low temperature in cement vats, so that the final wine exudes a fresh, lively character. Since the 2004 vintage, this wine has been made from USDA-certified organically grown grapes.

"The 2009 Guidalberto flows across the palate with layers of radiant red fruit. This is another striking, supple Guidalberto loaded with personality. Stylistically it is quite close to the 2007, but with perhaps a touch less body but equally silky, polished tannins. Freshly cut roses, spices and a burst of pure red berries add nuance on the finish. Guidalberto is no longer the stunning value it once was, but it is quite gorgeous in this vintage just the same. This is easily one of the best vintages I can recall tasting." Wine Advocate (92+ Points)
This is the best young Sassicaia in years. It's the new 1988, which was great, and sometimes better than the legendary 1985. What incredible aromas here with blueberries, spices, licorice, plums. Graphite too. Subtle and complex. Full and silky with a beautiful texture of fine tannins and an ultra-fine finish. So beautiful now but will be much better in 2015. Owner Niccolo Incisa della Rocchetta says that Sassicaia is always great in years that end with eight: 1958, 1968, 1978, 1988, 1998, and 2008.
"The 2008 Sassicaia is a rich, deep wine imbued with notable class in its black cherries, plums, grilled herbs, minerals and smoke. The 2008 is a decidedly buttoned-up, firm Sassicaia that is currently holding back much of its potential, unlike the 2006 and 2007, both of which were far more obvious wines. Readers who can afford to wait will be treated to a sublime wine once this settles down in bottle." Wine Advocate (96 Points)

The 2008 Terre di San Leonardo is a gorgeous entry-level wine. Dark cherries, plums, herbs, leather, spices and minerals are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass. Floral notes add lift and perfume on the finish. This is a fabulous wine for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018.Wine Advocate 90 Points
Red | Sangiovese | Italy | 750ml
"Spicy and already showing some mushroomy and woodsy aromas, this is complex and flavorful, with cherry and tobacco notes and a touch of licorice. Tightly wound, with a lingering, savory aftertaste." Wine Spectator (92 Points)
Red | Aglianico | Italy | 750ml
The estate's Aglianico is a gem of a wine. Wild cherries, dark raspberries, spices, leather and licorice come together beautifully in this medium-bodied red. Floral notes waft out from the glass on the finish. There is nothing fussy here, just a flat out delicious bottle of unoaked Aglianico readers are sure to enjoy. Even better, this is a terrific value.
"The 2010 Aglianico is a gorgeous entry-level red loaded with varietal character and nuance. Smoke, incense, tobacco and grilled herbs emerge over time. There is more than enough fruit to fill out the wine’s big, broad-shouldered frame. This juicy, expressive Aglianico also happens to be a great wine for the money." Wine Advocate (89 Points)

Neprica is an awesome blend of Negroamaro, Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon from southern Italy that offers an unbeatable price versus quality ratio. This rising star of Puglia would pair with meats, pasta or aged cheese and offers clean aromas of ripe fruit, spice and leather.
Red | Primitivo | Italy | Salento | 750ml
"The 2009 Primitivo Salento Torcicoda shows plenty of varietal character in its deep, plush fruit. Smoke, licorice, leather, sweet spices and tobacco add complexity to the juicy finish. This is another tasty red well-suited to near-term enjoyment." Wine Advocate (88 Points)
"Amazing quality for a simple Chianti. Beautiful character of sliced ripe strawberries and lemons follow through to a full body, with bright acidity and a silky finish. Firm silky tannins come through. Give it a little more time to come together. Shows the excellent quality of the vintage."?James Suckling (90 Points)
"The 2011 Chianti is another terrific, value-priced red. Sweet cherries, flowers and spices are some of the notes that jump from the glass in this vinous, fruit-forward Chianti." Wine Advocate (88 Points)
"Sweet floral aromatics emerge from the 2006 Gattinara. This deceptively medium-bodied wine shows good depth in its red fruit, but at times comes across as a touch fragile and fleeting. Nevertheless, it is an attractive, representative Gattinara well-suited for drinking over the next few years." Wine Advocate (91 Points)
Red | Sangiovese | Italy | Tuscany | 750ml
Profoundly fragrant, dried flowers, red fruits, and spices give an element of splendid finesse that plays upon the contrast between the backbone of acidity and the powerfulness of the fruit. A perfect balance able to evolve over time.
