White | Chardonnay | United States | California | 750ml
"The 2009 Chardonnay Clare Hyde Vineyard is a beautiful, focused wine. It possesses the textural richness that is typical of this site, but with quite a bit of minerality and freshness as well. Clean saline notes frame the nicely delineated finish. This parcel was planted with Wente clones 17 years ago. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2021." Wine Advocate (92 Points)
Red | Syrah | United States | California | 750ml
"Firm, intense and chewy, at points rustic and edgy, this manages to deliver a tight, potent, concentrated mix of dried berry, pomegranate, black licorice and cedar flavors. Ends with gritty tannins." Wine Spectator (90 Points)
Red | Cabernet Sauvignon | United States | California | 750ml
The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has more energy and focus than the Napa Valley bottling. Iron, graphite, red fruits, dried flowers are some of the many notes that take shape in this deep, complex, powerful wine. I imagine the 2009 will still be spectacular at age 30. For now, it needs at least another handful of years of cellaring to drink well. Huge veins of minerality support the huge fruit, giving the wine much of its pure tension and vitality. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow over the coming decades. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2039 Wine Advocate 96+ Points This delivers a tight beam of rich, complex flavors, with currant, black licorice, loamy earth, cedar and tobacco leaf notes that expand on the finish, where this maintains its focus and gains length. The tannins are firm, yet this is approachable. Best from 2014 through 2025. Wine Spectator 93 Points
Dunn's 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is loaded with blue and black fruit, grilled herbs, asphalt, melted road tar and smoke. A dark, juicy wine, the 2009 is surprisingly open for a young Dunn Cabernet Sauvignon. In this vintage, Dunn's Lake Vineyard, the last parcel on the property to ripen, accounts for nearly 50% of the blend. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2029. Randy Dunn's two 2009s are quite different from each other in this vintage, something that isn't always the case. That's good news for Dunn fans, as the 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the estate's few recent releases that won't take ages to be accessible. The Howell Mountain Cabernet is classic Dunn, with maybe just a little more polish than some other recent vintages. Wine Advocate 92 Points
Red | Cotes du Rhone | France | Rhone Valley | 750ml
Deep and dark red. Shiny. Fresh fruits with red berries and spices on the nose. The palate is full, round and racy. Rounded and smooth tannins. A full-bodied, rich and intensly aromatic wine. Overall, full with a long finish and plenty of elegance and finesse due to the well balanced tannins and fruit. This classic wine offers top quality year in year out.
Red | Cabernet | United States | California | 750ml
The wine was gravity fed into underground caves and aged for 18 months in 100% French oak barrels, 25% new. The final wine was left unfined and unfiltered for bottling.
The palate is full of rich flavors of cassis, candied cherry with notes of dark chocolate and a hint of sweet marjoram. The lush qualities of this wine combined with its velvety tannins makes it a perfect wine to pair with a garlic coated prime rib, grilled lamb chops or a beef tenderloin with a blue cheese sauce.

Deep crimson-garnet in color with bluish highlights on the rim. Fresh blueberry and elegant spice aromas of clove and mace are matched with flavors of blackberry, and dried cherry. Bright acidity and supple tannins that are followed by a long, silky finish.

"The 2009 Fonseca shows consistent notes to its release. It was a small production of 6,300 cases compared to the average of 11,000. It has a quintessential, primal Fonseca bouquet with voluptuous sloes, blackcurrants, kirsch and sweet fig all suffused with glycerin. The palate is succulent on the entry, but the copious nascent black fruit belies the structure underneath. (Indeed, this vintage has the highest anthocyanin count.) This should evolve into a magnificent port. Drink 2035-2050" Wine Advocate (94 Points)

Red | Petite Sirah | United States | California | 750ml
Opaque purple colored in the glass, this is a classic big, well-structured Petite Sirah. It delivers full, firm dark berry fruit with plenty of spice. The substantial tannins are balanced by the huge fruit.
White | Gewurztraminer | United States | 750ml
Labeled dry and tasting very much so, this clean, floral-scented Gewurztraminer has a pleasingly dusty aspect; rose petals with a thin veneer of incense. Long and complex. Best Buy.
Red | Pinot Noir | United States | 750ml
2009 Pinot Noir is a bit more forward than prior vintages, leaning more to the black-fruit vs. red fruit side on both the nose and palate. The palate retains a fresh and focused acidity that complements the fine and subtle tannins.
Red | Zinfandel | United States | California | 750ml
OVC – our multi-appellation blend – pulls fruit from every one of the top five Zinfandel appellations in California. By themselves, they’re news worthy. Together, well, we’re gonna stick with the tried and true: unbeatable. On the nose the wine has layers of berry fruit and anise aromas with hints of spice. On the palate, blackberry and spicy plum fruit with a rich mouth feel. Big and opulent on the mid palate with plenty of structure, trailing to a velvety toasted oak finish.
Deep, intense black fruit, bright acidity and long gorgeous flavors are a hallmark of this long growing season and a reason to celebrate the intense effort and sacrifice it took to get there. The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic. Made to accompany that herb-crusted standing rib roast, it surely will not disappoint.
