The 2007 El Pison is medium purple in color with a superb, already complex nose of smoke, liquid mineral, crushed stone, lavender, balsamic, and black cherry. This leads to a beautifully proportioned, elegant, satin-textured wine with plush fruit, plenty of structure, and a lengthy, seamless finish. Senor Lopez de Lacalles description of the 2007 is delicate, pure, and a wine of finesse. Drink this seamless, totally pleasure-bent, intellectually satisfying wine from 2010 to 2025.Robert Parker 98 Points

The 2006 Cerro Anon Reserva is a blend of 80% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha and 15% Mazuelo and Mazuelo that is aged for 20 months in American oak. Noticeably deep in color, the nose is very pure with notes of blackberry, violet, leather and a hint of lavender emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a citrus-fresh entry. It is very well-balanced with supple tannins and subtle leather and tobacco notes infusing the dark plum and summer berry fruit. This is a very well-crafted wine that stays true to exactly what Rioja ought to be. Excellent. Drink now-2018. Wine Advocate 92 PointsDeep ruby. Pungent aromas of cherry-vanilla, mocha and floral oils, with a smoky topnote. Lush and expansive, offering sweet red fruit flavors and a strong jolt of vanilla. Finishes smooth and sweet, with very good energy and juicy persistence. Stephen Tanzer International Wine Cellar 90 Points
"The purple-colored 2007 Martin Cendoya Reserva is composed of 80% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano, and 5% Mazuelo aged in French oak for 14 months and in bottle for 24 months prior to release. Aromas of brooding black fruits, tobacco, mineral, and Asian spices are followed by a wine with considerable elegance, a silky texture and several years of aging potential." Wine Advocate (91 Points)
"Dark red. Redcurrant, dried cherry and vanillin oak on the nose, with a smoky mineral quality in the background. Lively red fruit and rose pastille flavors are complemented by sweet vanilla bean and cola nuances. The oakiness fades away on the long finish, which is juicy, expansive and seamless. This wine's lively acidity makes it refreshing and easy to drink now, but it really deserves patience."
Deep cherry red with a pinkish rim. Fresh and clean on the nose, with fine aromas reminiscent of ripe red berries, cherries and balsamic spices, including notes of clove, cinnamon and vanilla. Well-balanced on the palate with a silky mouthfeel, with good tannins, a lingering finish and a refreshing touch of acidity that gives the characteristic liveliness typical of Viña Alberdi. This wine willl continue to slowly mature over the next 5 years. A perfectly balanced wine from an outstanding vintage.
Cherry red with a pinkish rim, high to medium robe. Intense aroma, predominant ripe red berries with balsamic scents, coffee, vanilla and coconut notes. Well-balanced on the palate with a silky mouthfeel, pleasant acidity that highlights a fresh and long-lasting aftertaste.
