Made from 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc grown in the via Bolgherese and Le Sondraie vineyards, Sondraia is a gorgeous wine that balances intense, jammy flavors with an elegant and polished style. Intense ruby red in color and concentrated, Sondraia offers exotic, spicy aromas of ripe cherry and blackberry combined with notes of chocolate and mocha that linger softly on the palate. Sondraia is full-bodied and supple, yet refined, with soft tannins framing a juicy texture. Strongly recommended with barbecued or roasted meats, filet mignon, steak tartare, and pasta or rich risottos.
