Pearson's Notes
Agrapart's rosé is based on the Cuvée Terroirs, with the addition of Cumières rouge purchased from René Geoffroy. It's released a year earlier than the Terroirs, as Agrapart prefers young rosé, so the current release is blended from 2005 and 2004, with about seven percent of red wine. Lively and harmonious, this shows fragrant notes of crushed red berry fruit, allied with the finesse, delicacy and pure minerality of Côte des Blancs chardonnay. Its nervy acidity and structure make it feel elegant and refreshing?while it's often difficult to get the balance of a "blanc de blancs" rosé just right, Agrapart's is consistently one of the best in the style.
