Rich and smooth. Beautiful floral aromas, with supple, plummy fruit flavors that fill the mouth. With well-integrated tannins and impressive smoothness on the finish, this red blend is meticulously crafted using fruit from low-yield Napa vineyards.

2007 Anderson's Conn Valley - Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Estate Reserve $87.99 $64.95

Red | Cabernet Sauvignon | United States | California | 750ml

"As I indicated last year, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a brilliant effort. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it has begun to shut down slightly, but reveals an opaque purple color along with deep, sweet, cedary, black currant aromas intermixed with hints of tobacco leaf, licorice and graphite. Full-bodied, powerful and rich, this impressive 2007 needs 4-5 years of cellaring and should keep for 25+ years." Wine Advocate (94 Points)

Smooth, with concentration that makes this almost chewy framing the cherry, licorice and sandalwood notes. There's also a latent mineral tone. Though well-proportioned and harmonious, this needs a year or so to really sing. Best from 2012 through 2028. 50 cases imported.

2007 Artadi - Vina El Pison Reserva Rioja
2007 Artadi - Vina El Pison Reserva Rioja $399.99 $274.97

Red | Rioja | Spain | Rioja | 750ml

The 2007 El Pison is medium purple in color with a superb, already complex nose of smoke, liquid mineral, crushed stone, lavender, balsamic, and black cherry. This leads to a beautifully proportioned, elegant, satin-textured wine with plush fruit, plenty of structure, and a lengthy, seamless finish. Senor Lopez de Lacalles description of the 2007 is delicate, pure, and a wine of finesse. Drink this seamless, totally pleasure-bent, intellectually satisfying wine from 2010 to 2025.

2007 Axios - Cabernet Sauvignon
2007 Axios - Cabernet Sauvignon $159.99 $119.95

Red | Cabernet | United States | Napa Valley | 750ml

"The brilliant 2007 Axios has an opaque purple color, a beautiful, sweet mulberry, black cherry, and cassis nose, and hints of crushed rock, flowers, and licorice, with subtle background oak. With its superb opulence, layered mouthfeel, and seamless finish, this could well turn out to be even better than the 2005, but it is still a youngster and unevolved, even compared to the 2005. It should last for 20 years." Wine Advocate (95+ Points)

2007 Belle Pente - Pinot Noir Estate Reserve
2007 Belle Pente - Pinot Noir Estate Reserve $39.95 $34.95

Red | Pinot Noir | United States | Oregon | 750ml

Winery Notes: It was 10 years ago that we released our first Estate Reserve Pinot Noir. This bottling has always represented the "best of the best" from our Belle Pente estate vineyard, and over the years has also evolved into our purest expression of the best attributes of our Yamhill-Carlton District appellation. The wines from our neighborhood are characterized by dark fruit flavors and aromas, herbal/floral overtones, underlying minerality, an intriguing texture, and an impeccable balance of acid and tannin that makes the wines silky and sappy but also fresh and focused. Our Estate Reserve Pinot Noir provides a textbook example! 2006 has been described as a very "user friendly" vintage for Pinot Noir in Oregon. This Estate Reserve was selected for the International Pinot Noir Celebration this summer - so it can certainly be enjoyed now. But it is destined to provide the most pleasure when pulled from the cellar a half dozen (or more) years down the road. This 2006 version once again is sourced primarily from 2 sections of the vineyard: the original 1994 planting, always the most complex wine in the cellar, and the Wadensvil block planted in 1998 on a steep south-west hillside, the warmest part of the vineyard which always achieves the most even ripening. We then selected the 18 individual barrels that best showcased our appellation attributes and provide the "right stuff" for aging. The result is a tightly wound, rich, concentrated, structured young wine - perhaps our strongest Estate Reserve bottling to date. Make sure to find some room in your cellar! 450 cases produced
2007 Belle Pente - Pinot Noir Murto Vineyard
2007 Belle Pente - Pinot Noir Murto Vineyard $39.99 $29.95

Red | Pinot Noir | United States | Oregon | 750ml

Winery Notes: For many of our longtime customers, Belle Pente and Murto are almost synonymous. We've bottled wine from Mike and Robin Murto's terrific Dundee Hills vineyard since our first vintage in 1996, and it's been a mainstay of our portfolio ever since. Like the mailman, Murto always delivers, and it did not shy from the task in 2007. Complex spicy, earthy, brambly aromas lead to a fresh, focused palate dripping with medium-ripe red fruit flavors over silky, polished tannins. An absolutely classic Dundee Hills Pinot Noir! Although this wine has a youthful exuberance that makes it pretty attractive now, it should become even more interesting with a few years in the cellar. 645 cases produced
2007 Beringer - Pinot Grigio California Founders' Estate
2007 Beringer - Pinot Grigio California Founders' Estate (1.5L) $11.99

White | Pinot Grigio | United States | California | 1.5L

When making Beringer Pinot Grigio, the winemaking team focuses on the refreshing crisp minerality and fruity peach undertones for which the varietal is known. Following harvest, the grapes are gently crushed and immediately pressed to minimize skin contact. A cool-fermentation follows in stainless steel to retain the Pinot Grigio's bright, fruit forward character. The resulting wine has a refreshing bite of juicy white peach and citrus, finishing with a flinty-minerality.

2007 Bodegas La Emperatriz - Reserva Rioja $26.99 $19.95

Red | Tempranillo | Spain | Rioja | 750ml

The 2007 Finca La Emperatriz Reserva comes from 60-year-old bush vines. It has a melted, sensual nose of macerated red cherries, a hint of sloes and eau-de-vie. There is just the right amount of volatility to lend it lift without diminishing the freshness. The palate is rounded and sumptuous in the mouth with cranberry, wild strawberry and red currant mingling with Asian spices and tobacco. The finish is very composed, with impressive weight and length, but does not outstay its welcome. This is a very fine Reserva that should age well over the next decade. Drink now-2022.

2007 Catena - Nicolas Zapata
2007 Catena - Nicolas Zapata $129.95 $99.95

Red | Proprietary Red | Argentina | 750ml

Nicolas Catena Zapata is made from a selection of the best lots in the Catena Zapata vineyards. The first Nicolas Catena Zapata was made in 1997, a phenomenal Cabernet Sauvignon vintage in Mendoza. The first vintage was released in 2000 through a series of blind tastings held in the USA and Europe where it was compared to Chateau Latour, Haut Brion, Solaia, Caymus and Opus One. The Nicolas Catena Zapata 1997 came in either first of second in every tasting. This wine is only produced in outstanding vintage years and has received high acclaim from top wine publications and experts.

2007 Catena Zapata - Nicasia Malbec
2007 Catena Zapata - Nicasia Malbec $141.99 $104.95

Red | Malbec | Argentina | Mendoza | 750ml

Catena Zapata Nicasia Malbec is made from a meticulous vine selection in the best lots of the Catena family’s estate vineyards. These Zapata vines are carefully hand tended and produce extremely low yields. The grapes are micro-fermented in new French oak barriques and the wine is then aged for 18 months in new French oak. This wine is made in very limited quantities.

"The single vineyard Malbecs begin with the 2007 Nicasia Vineyard Malbec. It was barrel-fermented and aged for 18 months in 100% new oak including a racking into a second set of new barrels (the so-called “200% new oak” treatment). A glass-coating opaque purple/black in color, it offers up a splendid nose of toasty new oak, earth notes, exotic spices, black cherry and black raspberry. This is followed by a plush, layered, intensely flavored wine with potential complexity, precision balance, and a seamless finish." Wine Advocate (95 Points)

An outstanding effort, Branaire's 2007 exhibits floral-infused black raspberry, boysenberry, and mulberry notes as well as a decidedly blue fruit character. Attractive, elegant, and medium to full-bodied with beautiful fruit, density, and texture, it should drink well for 10-12 years.

2007 Chateau Carbonnieux - Pessac-Leognan
2007 Chateau Carbonnieux - Pessac-Leognan $58.99 $42.99

Red | Proprietary Red | France | Bordeaux | 750ml

"A very strong effort for the vintage, this dark ruby/purple-hued 2007 reveals notes of sandalwood, spice box, black currants, sweet cherries, and truffles. Spicy, round, and generous with a nicely layered mouthfeel, velvety tannins, and a surprisingly long, authoritative finish, it will provide plenty of pleasure over the next 10-12 years." 2007 Château d'Armailhac - Pauillac
2007 Château d'Armailhac - Pauillac $83.99 $59.95

Red | Bordeaux | France | Bordeaux | 750ml

Abundant tannin in addition to a deep ruby/purple hue, superb purity, and a lovely texture are found in this delicious Pauillac. One of the finest d'Armailhacs I have ever tasted, it is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot that achieved an amazing 13.3% natural alcohol. Aromas of black currants, creamy oak, and earth emerge from this medium to full-bodied effort. It should be drinkable in 4-5 years, and will last for two decades or more.
2007 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou - St.-Julien
2007 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou - St.-Julien $159.95 $129.95

Red | Bordeaux | France | Bordeaux | 750ml

The Ducru Beaucaillou 2007 has a rather elegant, understated nose, the type that could get lost in a blind tasting such as this: notes of wild strawberry, raspberry, cedar and a touch of leather, nice definition and finesse. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannins, very poised and almost Burgundian in its purity towards the finish. Beautifully crafted for the vintage.

Bright ruby-red. Pure but youthfully inexpressive nose hints at raspberry and tobacco after extended aeration. Sweet, suave and pliant, with a silky texture perked up by minerality and lifted by a spicy component. Really lovely consistent ripeness here, showing neither roasted nor green qualities. Took on a more floral character with air. This superbly elegant wine really saturates the palate and lingers. Tannins are fine and sweet.
