"Dense, with a impressive tannic coating to the chestnut, tobacco, pastis, mulled currant and blackberry fruit flavors. There's a smoldering charcoal note on the finish, with the grip nicely integrated. You'd never guess this as a 2008. A terrific effort for the vintage. Best from 2012 through 2022." Agrapart was founded in 1894 in the Grand Cru village of Avize. Agrapart's rose is based on the Cuvee Terroirs (am Extra Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs), with the addition of still Pinot Noir from the village of Cumieres purchased from René Geoffroy. Expect a younger-styled rose that leans toward elegance, light body, verve and structure and on the dry side as Agrapart imparts a light dosage.
This multi-vintage wine is composed from the harvests of 2009 and 2008 aged in oak barrels and blended from seven villages in the Cote de Blancs and Vallee de le Marne. The base wines undergo malelactic fermentation and age on the lees for 3 years and are stirred manually. The dosage is limited to a light 7g of sugar.
"Pale gold with a strong bead. Lively lemon, quince and honeysuckle on the nose, with a nervy underpinning of minerals. A brisk and finely etched blanc de blancs, offering clean citrus and orchard fruit flavors along with subtle anise and floral qualities. Finishes with very good clarity and cut." Beautiful looking with a bright, young, pale yellow color. Intense, attractive and rich on the nose, with hints of very ripe white and yellow fruit and exotic fruit aromas. A fruity wine which is big, smooth and fresh on the palate.

This Pommard 1er Cru “Clos Micault” has a beautiful garnet color. Elegant to the nose, it develops aromas of back fruits, coffee and vanilla, supported by soft spice and pepper notes. Fleshy and supple in the mouth, its tannins are well incorporated, the wooden notes are subtle and the finish lingers forever…

“The 2009 Beaune Cent-Vignes is gorgeous. Juicy dark cherries, flowers, mint and minerals come to life in the glass in this deep, expressive wine. The tannins are quite firm and the structure is imposing, so readers will have to be patient. There is little doubt the Cent-Vignes will be stellar in a few years. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.” Wine Advocate (91+)

This estate is widely considered one the finest red wine estates in Beaune. It is often the last estate to harvest demanding perfectly ripe skins and implements a severe green harvest every vintage.

Lively like the look in your eyes, sweet like a kiss.Very fine gold color with a green sheen. Its nose has a flowery fruity bouquet. Being pure and honest it is seducer from the outset. Flowers flit around, trees bend down to give their most beautiful fruits to us and the air we breathe is so sweet in this garden full of sweetness that it is intoxicating. Lively, supple and welcoming taste. Predominantly honest in a welcoming balance, it reflects a pretty grape, a fine harvest in the singing and laughter of the men and women pickers. It tells us of work well done in the divine order and Nature's kindness. It is fair, and all one expected and to cap it all there is happiness there.
White | Riesling | France | 750ml
Golden yellow hues, with notes of grapefruit, apricot, and fruit compote. It’s a fine wine with a well-balanced and bold finish. This Riesling will pair beautifully well with poultry, smoked fish, raw fish (sashimi and sushi), as well as crawfish and lobster.

This wine is medium-bodied and elegant, with a nose of pure black cherry fruit. Considered a benchmark for the Bourgogne appellation, it picks up subtle shades of spicy earth and smoky vanilla, as the finish fans out. Bertrand Ambroise uses young vines from his vineyards in Nuits-Saint-Georges for this wine.

100% Grand Cru estate-bottled Pinot Noir from the village of Bouzy that is aged six years on its lees; offers full-throttle strawberry, wheat kernel, and stone flavors along with a pleasing touch of cream in the mid-palate and finish - an excellent accompaniment to creamy pastas, poultry and richer seafoods.
"The NV Brut Grande Reserve emerges from the glass with layers of hazelnut, pear, spice and dried flower aromas. This rich, creamy wine impresses for its balance and sheer richness. I loved it."?Wine Advocate (90 Points)
"The 2002 Brut Millesime shows the exuberance and weight for which Bouzy is so well-known. Red berries, flowers and minerals are some of the nuances that are woven together in a rich, expansive fabric of notable class. This really needs some time in the glass to shine, but when the wine opens up it is absolutely glorious. A round, creamy finish has the last word. The 2002 is a bit more forward than most wines in this vintage which makes it approachable now, although I am not sure it is destined to make old bones." Wine Advocate (90 Points)
A robust and exotic Champagne uniquely blended from one vintage and a solera blend from a mix of vintages dating a few years further.
"The NV Grand Cru Cuvee 1911 emerges from the glass with the most haunting of perfumes. Sweet rose petal and jasmine are some of the nuances that emerge over time. Despite recent disgorgement, the purity of the fruit and the extraordinary elegance of the mousse are hard to miss. This is an exceptional, elegant version of the 1911 that should drink beautifully for years to come. The bottle I tasted needed quite a bit of air to open up, so readers should be patient with the wine at this stage." Wine Advocate (93+ Points)
"The NV Brut Nature Silver is naturally a very focused, driven wine given the no-dosage style. This shows wonderful nuance and depth all the way through to the long finish, with bright aromas and flavors but less of the toastiness than some of the house's other wines. The mousse and finish are both utterly impeccable in their elegance." Wine Advocate (91 Points)

Brilliant robe, flowery aromas with a very nice nose of hazelnuts. An elegant wine with a lot of finesse and freshness. This wine is ready for drinking now and it can be kept for another 8 years.

Ripe and very floral aromas display pure red pinot fruit that is cut with minerality and crushed herbs that introduce earthy and stony middle weight flavors that possess a taut muscularity and excellent power on the beautifully well-balanced and lingering finish. This is a very fresh wine of harmony that should age for decades if well-stored and while it's not quite at the same level as the brilliant 2005 version, it's close. Drink 2024+
An ultra fresh and very pinot nose is nuanced by hints of Gevrey-style earth and a hint of forest floor that also is reflected by the cool, detailed and pliant middle weight flavors that possess good depth but also a mildly edgy finish where it’s not entirely clear that it will round out.
The 2009 Charmes-Chambertin emerges from the glass with lovely radiance and openness in its ripe, juicy fruit. The Charmes is already rather forward, and at this stage appears to be a relatively early-maturing wine. The oak is also a bit pronounced. Sweet, textured floral notes wrap around the long, polished finish. Rousseau’s Charmes is technically 60% Mazoyeres. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2029.
The 2009 Gevrey-Chambertin is pure silk on the palate. Layers of flavor emerge gracefully from this weightless, totally refined wine. A model of understated elegance, the Gevrey makes a great introduction to the wines of Eric Rousseau.
Smooth, with concentration that makes this almost chewy framing the cherry, licorice and sandalwood notes. There's also a latent mineral tone. Though well-proportioned and harmonious, this needs a year or so to really sing. Best from 2012 through 2028. 50 cases imported.
Brightly redolent of fresh red currant and blackberry, accompanied by Lapsang tea, fennel, and maritime suggestions of brine and alkali, Rousseau’s 2008 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers displays incipient creaminess, but at the same time, tartness on the palate, with an invigorating sense of fruit skin and fine-grained tannins that lead to a finish of impressive grip. Like the corresponding Lavaux St.-Jacques, this is refreshing but short on richness, and the superior smell in the empty glass confirms the degree to which it is presently a bit reduced. And here too, I can envision 8-10 years of interesting evolution.
