This is Napa Cabernet on a grand scale that will develop and improve in the bottle for 5 to 15 years. Providing the core of the Hommage is our Palisades Vineyard, located 2.5 miles northwest of the winery. Adding depth and color is Petit Verdot from the Home Ranch, at the winery on the valley floor in Calistoga, with deep and fertile sandy clay‐loam. A small amount of Cabernet Franc from new plantings in Carneros at Mitsuko’s Vineyard on Haire clay loam provides vibrancy.
