"As I indicated last year, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a brilliant effort. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it has begun to shut down slightly, but reveals an opaque purple color along with deep, sweet, cedary, black currant aromas intermixed with hints of tobacco leaf, licorice and graphite. Full-bodied, powerful and rich, this impressive 2007 needs 4-5 years of cellaring and should keep for 25+ years." Wine Advocate (94 Points)
Ariel oak-aged Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of black currants, cherry, blueberries and chocolate, with soft tannins and a dry finish.
The nose shows lovely rosehip, black cherry and black currant, with deep wood and vanilla spice. The wine has flavors of bing cherry and black fruits with a delicacy and finesse that is appealing and reminiscent of the structure and elegance of a great Bordeaux. The full fruit finish, supple, weighty tannins and long finish add to the complexity of this wine.

"Blended with 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc.Beautiful deep red color with perfumed aromas of ripe black cherries, strawberries and roasted cocoa beans. This wine is full-bodied and incredibly lush for a young Cabernet. It explodes on the palate with red and black fruits, then shows baking spices on its way to a mouthwatering finish. Pairs with a wide range of foods including beef, sausages, spiced or grilled pork, veal, rabbit, medium-strong cheeses, and meat-based pasta sauces."

Produced by Napa Valley cult-wine favorite Buccella Vineyards, the "Mica" is a declassified wine of barrels that do not make the cut for the producer's primary Cabernet Sauvignon. Both wines are made in the same practice of whole-berry fermentation, 22 months aging in new French oak barrels and being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
The CADE Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is sourced from five small growers on Howell Mountain: CADE Estate Vineyards, Ink Grade Vineyards, Outpost Vineyards, True and Eagle Summit Vineyards.
"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a big, rich, seamless wine endowed with gorgeous depth and plushness. Dark red fruit, licorice, spices and menthol are some of the notes that take shape in the glass in this big, powerful Cabernet Sauvignon. A rich, textured finish rounds things out in style." "Young and appropriately vibrant and grapey. Homes in on pure currant and blackberry fruit, veering briefly toward cedar and tobacco before tightening on the finish." Wine Spectator (92 Points)
"The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection is, big, rich, voluptuous and totally sexy. Mocha, chocolate, plums, sweet spices and black cherries jump from the glass in this full-bodied, intense wine. This is one of the more immediate wines of the vintage, but all the elements are very nicely balanced. Once again Caymus has produced a gorgeous Special Selection that is delicious on its own, but that is also remarkable for a relatively large production of 9,600 cases." Wine Advocate (93 Points)

The best Chateau Smith to date and the 2009 vintage garnered 91 points and a "Smart Buys" from Wine Spectator. This 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon bottling from Charles Smith represents an excellent value in Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from four select vineyards in the appelation, the wine was fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak. From winemaker Charles Smith: "Like a monarch’s robe, majestic, plush, rich and velvety. Cassis, black cherry, and a pinch of pipe tobacco. Long and full.
82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 8% Petite Verdot. Our Chasing Lions Cabernet Sauvignon is a sleek and supple full-bodied wine that offers aromas of cassis and blueberries. The palate is richly textured with silky tannins and wonderful fruit density filled with flavors of ripe blackberries, chocolate, mocha and toasty oak. A perfectly balanced and accessible wine that is made to drink well on its own on or pairs well with grilled steak, lamb, strong cheeses and chocolate. Grab life by the mane!
"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderfully supple and fragrant. Silky tannins frame a core of expressive dark red fruit. Floral and spice notes are nicely woven throughout. This textured, gracious Cabernet Sauvignon should continue to age gracefully for another 7-10 years, but it is awfully good right now. The blend includes 7% Merlot and 1.5% Cabernet Franc in 2009." "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap District shows off considerable focus and depth, not to mention terrific overall balance. Dark plums, cherries, spices, licorice and cassis are some of the notes that flow from this long, pure wine. Today the tannins are a bit compact, but bottle age should help to some degree. The 2009 is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Merlot." Wine Advocate (91 Points)
Masses of pure Cabernet Sauvignon blackcurrant fruit coupled with toasty oak dominate the nose. Rich, concentrated and spicy, the palate of the wine is dense and juicy with great structure and a long finish. This is Napa Cabernet on a grand scale that will develop and improve in the bottle for 5 to 15 years. Providing the core of the Hommage is our Palisades Vineyard, located 2.5 miles northwest of the winery. Adding depth and color is Petit Verdot from the Home Ranch, at the winery on the valley floor in Calistoga, with deep and fertile sandy clay‐loam. A small amount of Cabernet Franc from new plantings in Carneros at Mitsuko’s Vineyard on Haire clay loam provides vibrancy.
Deep complex fruit notes of ripe black cherry, French plums and cassis are complimented by violets, baker's spices and a hint of cocoa and dried pipe tobacco. This suave yet weighty wine possesses a midpalate density balanced by classic structure, refined tannins and a lengthy finish.
