Agrapart was founded in 1894 in the Grand Cru village of Avize. Agrapart's rose is based on the Cuvee Terroirs (am Extra Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs), with the addition of still Pinot Noir from the village of Cumieres purchased from René Geoffroy. Expect a younger-styled rose that leans toward elegance, light body, verve and structure and on the dry side as Agrapart imparts a light dosage.
This multi-vintage wine is composed from the harvests of 2009 and 2008 aged in oak barrels and blended from seven villages in the Cote de Blancs and Vallee de le Marne. The base wines undergo malelactic fermentation and age on the lees for 3 years and are stirred manually. The dosage is limited to a light 7g of sugar.
"Pale gold with a strong bead. Lively lemon, quince and honeysuckle on the nose, with a nervy underpinning of minerals. A brisk and finely etched blanc de blancs, offering clean citrus and orchard fruit flavors along with subtle anise and floral qualities. Finishes with very good clarity and cut." 100% Grand Cru estate-bottled Pinot Noir from the village of Bouzy that is aged six years on its lees; offers full-throttle strawberry, wheat kernel, and stone flavors along with a pleasing touch of cream in the mid-palate and finish - an excellent accompaniment to creamy pastas, poultry and richer seafoods.
"The NV Brut Grande Reserve emerges from the glass with layers of hazelnut, pear, spice and dried flower aromas. This rich, creamy wine impresses for its balance and sheer richness. I loved it."?Wine Advocate (90 Points)
"The 2002 Brut Millesime shows the exuberance and weight for which Bouzy is so well-known. Red berries, flowers and minerals are some of the nuances that are woven together in a rich, expansive fabric of notable class. This really needs some time in the glass to shine, but when the wine opens up it is absolutely glorious. A round, creamy finish has the last word. The 2002 is a bit more forward than most wines in this vintage which makes it approachable now, although I am not sure it is destined to make old bones." Wine Advocate (90 Points)
A robust and exotic Champagne uniquely blended from one vintage and a solera blend from a mix of vintages dating a few years further.
"The NV Grand Cru Cuvee 1911 emerges from the glass with the most haunting of perfumes. Sweet rose petal and jasmine are some of the nuances that emerge over time. Despite recent disgorgement, the purity of the fruit and the extraordinary elegance of the mousse are hard to miss. This is an exceptional, elegant version of the 1911 that should drink beautifully for years to come. The bottle I tasted needed quite a bit of air to open up, so readers should be patient with the wine at this stage." Wine Advocate (93+ Points)
"The NV Brut Nature Silver is naturally a very focused, driven wine given the no-dosage style. This shows wonderful nuance and depth all the way through to the long finish, with bright aromas and flavors but less of the toastiness than some of the house's other wines. The mousse and finish are both utterly impeccable in their elegance." Wine Advocate (91 Points)

Its beautiful color is achieved through assemblage, the process by which sparkling white wine is blended with a proportion of still Pinot Noir wine. Our Pinot Noir is picked from old -growth vines grown specifically for use in Rosé Champagne. Our Rosé is announced with a rich bouquet of red fruits with delicate, smoky grilled notes behind. It is fresh and full-bodied on the palate with aromas of strawberries and blackcurrant, and is lingering and complex in its finish. Armand de Brignac Rosé is produced in extremely limited quantities.
"The NV Brut Majeur shows lovely balance in an approachable, up-front style well-suited to near-term drinking. Clean, mineral notes add a sense of proportion on the fresh, vibrant finish. The blend is 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier, 80% of which is from the 2004 vintage, while the rest of the wine is composed of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay reserve wines." Wine Advocate (88 Points)
"The 2000 Brut Cuvee Nicolas Francois Billecart impresses for its sheer purity and focus. Nothing is out of place in this beautifully delineated, precise wine. Cool, minty notes add lift, yet the 2000 is rather reticent at this stage and appears to need further bottle age. Still, its textural finesse is impossible to miss." Wine Advocate (94 Points)
This new cuvee is all vinified in oak but hasn't a hint of obvious oak on the nose. Lovely quality of fizz. Brooding and intense. There is marked density here and excellent balance and persistence. As usual, we are not told on the back label how old this blend may be, just that it is 'respectfully composed' of the three Champagne varieties. But it's impressive wine and I suspect it will not be cheap. Recommended. Janis Robinson

This cuvee contains 40% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay. All wines from the best sites in the department of the Marne, from more than twenty top vineyards in Champagne. The overall composition of this cuvée has not changed much for almost fifty years. Fine bubbles which rise slowly, persistent mousse. Straw-colored. A nose of ripe pear with some touches of cut hay. Full fruit, but clean in the mouth.
A dry Champagne showing purity and brightness having no sugar added to the dosage. A blend of 40% Pinot Meunier, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay. Complex and seductive aromas of dried fruits and brioche combined with floral notes. This is further enhanced by the subtle charm of lemon verbena. Charming biscuity flavour and white fruits with a full and harmonious minerality resulting in a sensational balanced finish.

Made from black grape varietals exclusively from the Montagne de Reims, the Blanc de Noirs exudes pronounced aromas of summer fruits and preserved fruits combined with spicy notes. Powerful, warm and intense, this can be enjoyed with fish or meat served in a sauce.
"The 2006 Brut Millesime is a big and powerful. Apricots, honey, flowers and mint all wrap around the palate as this juicy, extroverted wine opens up in the glass. The 2006 is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, and it is the Pinot that is felt most in the wine’s breadth and pure richness. Although already quite complex, the 2006 should acquire even further tertiary complexity over the coming years. Today, it is showing beautifully." Wine Advocate (92 Points)
A perfect aperitif, Delamotte Brut can also be a graceful companion at the table; wonderful aromas of white flesh fruit, pear and ginger overlie the elegant touch of minerality that carries the wine on the palate.
"Light yellow. Spicy lemon and lime aromas are complicated by ginger and talc, with a suave floral quality gaining strength in the glass. Fresh and energetic, offering racy citrus and pear flavors that are strikingly pure and mineral-driven." Stephen Tanzer (91 Points)
" The 2003 Dom Perignon is a big, broad shouldered wine. It does not have the seductiveness of the 2000, nor the power of the 2002. It is instead very much its own wine. In 2003 Geoffroy elected to use more Pinot Noir than is typically the case, and that comes through in the wine’s breath and volume. The 2003 is a big, powerful Champagne that will require quite a bit of time to shed some of its baby fat. The trademark textural finesse is there, though. I expect the 2003 to be a highly divisive Champagne because of its extreme personality, but then again, many of the world’s legendary wines were made from vintages considered freakish at the time. The 2003 is an atypically, rich, powerful, vinous Dom Perignon loaded with fruit, structure and personality. It is not for the timid, but rather it is a wine for those who can be patient." Wine Advocate (94+ Points)
A long aging provides additional flavors of vanilla, roasted nuts and a hint of toast. A result of the carefully chosen infusion of terroir and reserve wines, the finish is long. Imparting to the finish is lightness from Chardonnay, fruitiness from Pinot Noir and roundness provided by Pinot Meunier.

"(45% pinot meunier, 35% chardonnay and 20% pinot noir; 80% from 2007 and 20% from 2006; disgorged 04/04/11): Pale yellow. Aromas of ripe pear, peach and honey, with a subtle strawberry nuance in the background. The palate offers very good intensity, with fresh orchard fruit and spicecake flavors picking up weight with air. Closes on a vibrant, stony note, with very good clarity and length." - Stephen Tanzer (91 Points)
"Initially quite powerful and vinous, the NV Brut Rose Grand Cru turns more delicate and feminine with time in the glass. The broad shoulders, minerality and power of Ay are vivid and beautifully expressive in the glass. Pure layers of intense minerality become utterly vivid on the delineated, polished finish. This release is approximately 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay with a dollop of still Pinot Noir vinified on the skins and aged in barrel. The base vintage is 2008, which gives the wine much of its energy, plus the addition of reserve wines from 2007 and 2006.'" Wine Advocate (92 Points)

"In the NV Brut Grand Cru Tradition readers will find a big, powerful wine bursting with character and personality. The intensity and pure depth of Ay come through in this deep, expressive Champagne. An intensely saline, mineral-infused finish adds the last touch of complexity. The NV Grand Cru Tradition is 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay bottled with 6 grams of dosage. This release is based on the 2008 vintage, with the addition of 30% reserve wines from 2007 and 2006." Wine Advocate (91 Points)
