This Napa Chardonnay has a light golden straw color and ripe aromas of fresh lemon custard and sweet tangerine aromas with a hint of Tahitian vanilla and a touch of clove spice. The final finish on the wine is generous with fruit and perfectly balanced with its acidity and understated oak making it an excellent aperitif and food friendly white. Offering a delicious bouquet of fruits and flowers combined with a lovely wooden note, this Puligny-Montrachet is attractive. It intermingles power with elegance, and a nice level of creaminess. Good aging potential.
With the goal of expressing a comprehensive expression of the appellation, we selected five unique vineyard sites to create this Sta. Rita Hills bottling. This blend is comprised of Mount Carmel, 3-D, Gnesa, Sea Smoke and Zotovich. While each lot is handled separately and in a completely uniform fashion in the winery, each contributes vastly different expressions which ultimately harmonize in the finished wine.
"The 2010 Chardonnay is gorgeous. Juicy apricots, pears, flowers and a hint of spices are woven together in this beautifully layered Chardonnay. Brewer-Clifton’s 2010 Chardonnay is a great wine for the money and an equally fabulous introduction to the house style. The fruit sources are Mt. Carmel, Sweeney Canyon, 3-D, Gnesa and a touch of Zotovich." Wine Advocate (91 Points)

The imprint of our 2010 Chardonnay's terroir is readily apparent in the aromatics, flavors and textures. While displaying a bit more elegance than recent vintages, the wine is still wonderfully intense and powerful with notes of baked apple, hazelnuts, lemon peel, nutmeg, brioche and cream.Winery Notes

In the glass, this wine has a classic Chardonnay hue of pale golden straw. The bouquet draws you in with delicate nuances of wet stones, lichee, white peach, orange blossoms, and a slight hint of toasted almonds. The palate is soft and fleshy and loaded with bright citrus tones of sweet mandarin and Meyer lemon, white nectarine and rich tropical notes of guava, pineapple, and lichee – all complemented by subtle sweet oak. There is a delicate smoothness to this Chardonnay and fantastic weight throughout. This is the wine you’ll want to bring to the next big dinner party or business lunch– get ready to accept the kudos.

INOX® takes its name from the abbreviation of the French word for stainless steel, inoxydable. The wine was created differently from most Chardonnay you’ve had. We think we’ve succeeded in expressing the crisp, steely, and fruit-rich side that we love about some Old-World Chardonnays. What a fantastic year for whites…this INOX hints at barrel influences (vanilla, honey and great texture), but don’t be fooled! The core of minerality and bright acid says “I came from stainless steel!” The balance in this wine will still make you second-guess yourself. A calming lemon curd, pear and white flower aromatic bouquet with the vibrancy of Sweet Tarts, green apples and gummy peaches on the palate.
"Moreau’s 2011 Chablis is showing some tightness because of its recent bottling, two weeks before this tasting, but it appears to have more freshness and verve than the 2010. Citrus and white floral notes give the 2011 much of its vibrancy and focus." Wine Advocate (88 Points)
"A mix of apple, honey, herb and earth notes highlights this rich white. Balanced, finishing with a touch of smoke." Wine Spectator (88 Points)
