Pearson's Notes
The majority of the blend of Piper-Heidsieck signature Cuvee Brut is composed of Pinot Noir. Hand selected parcels of Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay also play important roles in the elaboration of this well-balanced cuvee. Selected reserve wines from preceding years are incorporated into the blend to ensure consistency of style year after year. The blend is aged for minimum 24 months on the lees before release. Wine Spectator - 91 points
A fresh, medium-bodied style, this shows finesse, with notes of apple, peach, ruby grapefruit, vanilla and toast. The refined texture and vibrant structure keep this focused and lingering, with fine length. Drink now through 2012. Wine Enthusiast - 92 points
Toasty aromas leap from the glass in this deliciously mature wine. It is soft but still very dry, with acidity tamed by both fine, mature fruit and a creamy texture that sits well in the mouth. This is a very fine, tasty wine
