Brian has been with Pearson's since 2016 as GM and Wine & Spirits buyer. He has the challenging task of keeping the store well-stocked with customer favorites while keeping things exciting with the weekly wine offerings and newsletter. With over ten years of retail experience in the DC area, Brian loves interacting with the customers and guiding them to that perfect bottle. He is always on the hunt for great wine and enthusiastically shares his findings with our wonderful customers. When he is not busy sourcing great wine, he loves to travel all over the world (and visit many wineries!), runs marathons, and enjoys studying history and languages. He has completed with the top score the Introductory Sommelier Course through the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas, has passed the Italian Wine Scholar program with honors, has passed the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Intermediate and Advanced with Distinction, and is currently on track to completing the WSET Diploma Level.
