Every wineaux knows, or should know, about the success of the first growth Bordeaux Chateau Lafite-Rothschild. The point of this email is to show you that ''the real ''R'' success story is told in the less expensive wines''... the Chilean wines of LOS VASCOS. Domaines Barons de Rothschild bought the Los Vascos Estate in 1988. After doing long and careful research with their technical team, they discovered this part of Chile had the right terroir and climatic conditions of a top Bordeaux estate. The vineyards are very close to the Pacific Ocean, have exposure to intense temperatures during the growing season, adequate source of water and semi-arid soils. Over the last three decades, the vineyards have been re-planted and yields have been greatly reduced to increase greater ripeness and complexity in the grapes. Here's what we are featuring this weekend: 

Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon, Colchagua Valley Chile & Los Vascos Chardonnay, Colchagua Valley & Casablanca

Perhaps some of the best quality for price point in the world of wine, you cannot go wrong with this full-bodied and supple Cabernet, on which the Los Vascos estate built its reputation, or the Chardonnay with its fresh, creamy, fruity, and primary aromas and flavors.
