This Pommard 1er Cru “Clos Micault” has a beautiful garnet color. Elegant to the nose, it develops aromas of back fruits, coffee and vanilla, supported by soft spice and pepper notes. Fleshy and supple in the mouth, its tannins are well incorporated, the wooden notes are subtle and the finish lingers forever…

“The 2009 Beaune Cent-Vignes is gorgeous. Juicy dark cherries, flowers, mint and minerals come to life in the glass in this deep, expressive wine. The tannins are quite firm and the structure is imposing, so readers will have to be patient. There is little doubt the Cent-Vignes will be stellar in a few years. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.” Wine Advocate (91+)

This estate is widely considered one the finest red wine estates in Beaune. It is often the last estate to harvest demanding perfectly ripe skins and implements a severe green harvest every vintage.

Red | Rioja | Spain | 750ml
Powerful yet harmonious, this rich red delivers black cherry, licorice, fresh herb, smoke and mineral flavors that mingle seamlessly over firm, well-integrated tannins, while balsamic-tinged acidity drives the flavors through the long, spicy finish. Drink now through 2025. 900 cases made. Wine Spectator 95 Points
The Domaine Bouchard Beaune Clos de la Mousse is a delicious Premier Cru wine from one of Burgundy's most prolific producers. Its fruity aromas are underscored by subtle notes of toasted oak, while the refined and delicate palate shows a charming quality in its vivacity and smooth texture. This is ideally suited to serving alongside white meat and poultry dishes.
Red | Chardonnay | France | Burgundy | 750ml
Typical aromas, with fruit and floral notes. A very perfumed, silky and elegant wine. To be drunk preferably in its youth for its freshness. Will deliciously accompany freshwater fish, shellfish of all kinds, pâtés and terrines.
"A similar if more complex nose also offers up notes of straw, melon and citrus where the latter continues onto the rich, generous and rather fleshy medium-bodied flavors that possess good dry extract levels and fine finishing intensity. This will be approachable young." Burghound (88)

This blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the best wines to yet come from this estate, owned by the proprietors of Pichon Lalande in Pauillac. Juicy, succulent, cedary black currant fruit intermixed with licorice, herbs and spice box are very pure, authoritative and substantial. Dark ruby/purple, medium to full-bodied and delicious, this wine should be drunk over the next 10-15 years. A sleeper. Wine Advocate 90 Points
This is packed with maduro tobacco, espresso and baker's chocolate flavors, joined by dark currant and plum fruit, but the edges are sleek and the finish nicely woven with roasted alder and bay notes. This shows nice range, and should blossom with mid-term cellaring. Best from 2013 through 2020. 6,500 cases made.Wine Spectator 91 Points
"Gorgeous ripe fruit character, with loads of blueberries, blackberries and flowers. Full body, with velvety tannins and a fruity, fresh, grapefruit aftertaste. Really beautiful. Best ever from here. Best after 2018." James Suckling 95 Points"Readers looking for the more ethereal, elegant side of Bordeaux need search no further than Cantemerle, one of the estates in the very southern end of the Medoc. Dense ruby/purple (nearly opaque), this wine offers up notes of lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, raspberries and black cherries. The wine is ethereal, medium-bodied, and by no means a blockbuster, but long and intellectual. However, the tannins are present, and the wine is certainly capable of putting on weight with time in the bottle. Give it 3-4 years of bottle age and drink it over the following 25+ years." Robert Parker of Wine Advocate 91+ Points"This broad, fleshy style delivers toasty spice and tobacco notes up front, followed by dark cocoa, crushed plum and mulled blackberry fruit flavors. This really stretches out nicely in the glass, with alluring dark fruit and a velvety feel. Drink now through 2017." Wine Spectator 91 Points
"Showing far superior from bottle than it did from barrel, the proprietor (the same as the famous military and corporate jet manufacturer) has turned out a sexy, opulent, fruit-laden wine with an abundance of black cherries, black currants, spring flowers and some background earth and licorice. This is a lusty, flamboyant and extroverted style of wine to drink over the next 10-15 years." Wine Advocate (90 Points)
Wine Spectator #69 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2012The best ever wine from this estate (even better than their sensational 2005), this full-bodied wine offers notes of blueberry, black currant, asphalt and burning charcoal embers in a deep, layered and multi-dimensional style. It is impressively pure and well-built, with far greater concentration and length than I ever remember this wine having in the past. Forget it for 5 years and drink it over the following three decades.Robert Parker 93 Points
Robert Parker- Tremendously underrated from barrel several years ago, the 2009 Les Gravieres is the best wine proprietor Denis Barraud has ever produced. Yields were not terribly low at 38 hectoliters per hectare, but this wine (made with 100% Merlot and finishing at just under 14% alcohol) has a spectacular, even flamboyant nose of pen ink, graphite, blackberry and black currant liqueur along with hints of subtle smoke and burning embers. On the palate it is full-bodied, with outstanding intensity, a skyscraper-like mid-palate that goes on and on, and an extravagant, even luxurious finish with silky tannins and low acidity. Drink it over the next 15 or so years. Bravo!
Nicely focused, with dark plum, black currant and steeped black cherry fruit melded with charcoal, black tea and mocha. The long finish is plush in feel, but stays restrained. Drink now through 2021. 4,330 cases made.Wine Spectator 90 Points
Red | Cabernet Sauvignon | United States | California | 750ml
"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderfully supple and fragrant. Silky tannins frame a core of expressive dark red fruit. Floral and spice notes are nicely woven throughout. This textured, gracious Cabernet Sauvignon should continue to age gracefully for another 7-10 years, but it is awfully good right now. The blend includes 7% Merlot and 1.5% Cabernet Franc in 2009." Wine Advocate 91 Points
Potentially the best Siran I have ever tasted and another unqualified sleeper of the vintage, this dense purple wine displays notes of scorched embers, vanillin, black currants, spring flowers and graphite. Medium to full-bodied, with stunning concentration, purity, texture and length, the 2009 Siran has plenty of tannin lurking beneath its luxurious fruit. Give it 2-3 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 20+ years.Robert Parker 90 Points
Red | Bordeaux Blend | France | Bordeaux | 750ml
The finest Goulee to date, the wine has an opaque purple color, a glorious nose of creme de cassis, blackberries, forest floor, and some subtle charcoal, and fabulous fruit on the attack, mid-palate and finish. The wine is opulent, even viscous, with unreal concentration and a full-bodied purity and texture. This wine simply over-delivers at every stage of the tasting experience. It is definitely a candidate to buy by the caseful and drink over the next decade or more. This is a major sleeper of the vintage. Created by Cos d’Estournel’s winemaker Jean-Guillaume Prats and proprietor Michel Reybier, this wine represents 90,000 bottles of absolutely remarkable claret made from a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot that has been lavished with the same attention and care that Cos d’Estournel receives.Robert Parker 92 Points

"Dense colour, fine nose, good precision, fine red and black fruits quality on the palate, good intensity of fruit flavours, richly concentrated, incisive blade of fresh acidity and quite chunky tannins but overall very well-made and intense." Decanter 92 Points

This vineyard is 7 acres with 20 year old vines. The wine is light yellow in color with a faint golden hue. It has a gorgeous perfume with floral and citrus nuances and is finesseful and balanced with floral and citrus notes and a lovely crisp finish.
Red | Pinot Noir | United States | 750ml
"Sometimes in a challenging vintage such as 2009, it is the least expensive, blended wines that benefit most, perhaps because grapes normally destined for the single-vineyard wines are redirected. Here, rich fruit flavors highlighted with streaks of caramel and toffee get things rolling quickly. Berries and cherries, firm acids, pretty spice and a lingering butterscotch finish." Wine Enthusiast 91 Points"The Serene 2009 Pinot Noir Yamhill Cuvee offers sweeter red berry flavors than does the corresponding 2010, with brown spice accents and nicely integrated tannic chew. Pure-fruited and with ample finishing juiciness, this betrays none of its vintage’s weak sides and ought to drink well for another several years." Wine Advocate
