Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is fashioned in a fruit forward, easy to drink style, yet it reveals admirable complexity and length. The rich black cherry and plum flavors are layered with hints of vanilla, smoke, bramble, herbal notes and creamy oak that linger on the palate. The finish is soft and lingering with bold, structured texture and integrated tannins complementing the intense fruit.

This wine is completely made with Cabernet Sauvignon and all the grapes have been hand picked and de-stemmed prior to a 10 to 15 days maceration in large vats. The wine also sees 10 months of maturation in barrels and released 3 months after bottling. Expect “a rounded wine, intensely fruity (cassis, red currants, plum), and subtle spices. It offers great balance and a long finish.
Very small production single vineyard wine from an area just off of Rte 29 in Oakville. The Vineyard is situated right next to Opus One and used to be a source of fruit for them as well. Rich and fragrant with aromas of blackberry and black cherry. The middle palate abounds with cherry, black currant, and blackberry flavors, all elegantly framed in smoky oak.
