As the temperature rises in California’s central coast during the hottest hours of the day, the vineyards at 24 Knots are blessed with cool marine winds which sweep through at an unbelievable 30 miles per hour, which, in nautical terms, is equivalent to a speed of 24 knots, hence the name… This very structured and balanced wine offers aromas of strawberry and black cherry, accompanied by hint of toast. It has a vivid acidity and a long silky finish.

A light-bodied, very affordable Pinot Noir from Caiden's Vineyards, who pride themselves for producing small batches of quality wines vintage after vintage.
This Pinot Noir is light ruby in color, with aromas of strawberry jam and a touch of mint, almost "Beaujolais" in style. To the taste, Queen Anne cherries, pomegranate, and cranberry are the primary flavors, with a hint of tobacco to round out the palate. The wine is light in body, with a medium finish, and pairs well with lighter entrees, including grilled sea bass or chicken Caesar salad.

The 2012 vintage was among the best for Pinot Noir in recent years. This Pinot Noir offers soft tannins, delicious plum and cherry aromas and flavors, a hint of allspice and an underpinning of the earth itself. Without a doubt, its defining feature is its irresistibly silky, velvety texture.

For Hahn’s Pinot Noir growing in the Arroyo Seco AVA, the predominant source of this wine, conditions were ideal for producing rounded and fruit forward wines. A dash of around 8% of Pinot Noir from our estate vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands contributed a note of acidity and elegance to the final blend.Dark purple in the glass, this Pinot Noir shows aromas of dried plums, black currants and cola. On the palate, black cherry flavors and a silky mouth-feel build on fresh acidity and well integrated oak flavors of vanilla and spice.

2010 Lindsay's Pinot Noir follows in the footsteps of its predecessors. A deep crimson hue leads to classic Pinot aromas of cola, red and black cherries, candied strawberries and cassis. While the wine is blessed with firm acidity, it is broad, silky and balanced on the palate. Notes of black cherry and worn leather explode on the nose followed by a rich brown sugar spice. Blueberry cobbler, lemon zest and freshly ground cardamom round out the palate. This is an intricate yet friendly wine and will resonate with all lovers of Pinot Noir. Full, ripe and harmonious it pairs well with lamb, turkey, salmon or pork.
Rickshaw Pinot Noir is comprised primarily of two upper echelon appellations: Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley. These two appellations account for seven of the eleven vineyard sources in this utterly tasty blend. All told, the wine saw about 20% new French Oak and twelve months of aging. The resulting wine is absolutely true to Pinot Noir’s traditional flavor profile - extremely well balanced and above all, delicious. The nose offers up sweet cherry notes, rose petals and a touch of forest floor. The wine is suave and pleasantly juicy on the palate with notes of plum, dark cherry and pomegranate.
