DB4 is meticulously crafted and blended by our winemaking team to create an exceptional wine that can be enjoyed immediately with proper decanting or in the future. The 2010 DB4 combines the expressive benchmark terrior of our estate with a compelling blend of fruit produced in David Abreu’s vineyards: Madrona, Thorevilos, and Lucia Howell Mountain. This wine has been a favorite of our clients since its inaugural release in 2007, as it captures the Bryant Family style at an affordable price point. "The 2010 DB4 is insanely beautiful. Crushed rocks, plums, cinnamon and licorice jump from the glass from this striking, delineated wine. In 2010, the DB4 has a level of pure energy and vibrancy that is missing in the 2009, most likely because it also includes declassified lots from the Bettina. This is a great showing from Don Bryant and his team. In most cellars, the DB4 would be the top wine, but here it is the second label. Top flight Napa Cabernet is seldom inexpensive, but this is just about as good as it gets for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025. " Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 94 Points
The Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made from our 13-acre estate vineyard atop Pritchard Hill, overlooking Lake Hennessey. This First Growth vineyard is meticulously farmed by David Abreu, with whom we have worked closely for over 12 years. This wine is a beautiful expression of our unique terroir and a testament to the dedication of our winemaking and vineyard team to produce the finest possible wine from this site. "Smoke, tar, incense and licorice are some of the many notes that emerge from the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an especially dark, brooding vintage for Bryant. Cassis, pencil shavings and melted road tar emerge later, adding further complexity and nuance. Unlike the 2009, there is little in the way of early appeal. On the other hand, I see the 2010 drinking beautifully for many, many years. There is an underlying vein of minerality that gives the 2010 a sense of energy and focus. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2030." Wine Advocate 96+ Points"The seductive oak has a smooth vanilla bean edge, leading to a rich yet elegant core of spicy berry, mineral, mocha, gravelly earth and road tar. Most impressive on the finish, where the flavors retain their graceful balance and end with a long, persistent finish. Drink now through 2025. 855 cases made. Wine Spectator 95 Points

Wine Spectator 94 PointsThe 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection is the first example of this cuvee to include Merlot (about 14%) in the blend. The Merlot component has given the wine a cocoa/chocolate nuance to its black currant, licorice-infused fruit. The tannins are velvety soft and the wine is beautifully textured and full-bodied. It is ideal for drinking now and over the next 15 years. Wine Advocate 94 Points
A brilliant wine, and one of the stars of the vintage, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection boasts aromas of blueberry pie, blackberries, cassis and white flowers. This full-bodied, velvety textured, delicious 2011 is already drinking well, and should continue to do so for 10-12 years. It is a terrific success for the vintage. "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderfully supple and fragrant. Silky tannins frame a core of expressive dark red fruit. Floral and spice notes are nicely woven throughout. This textured, gracious Cabernet Sauvignon should continue to age gracefully for another 7-10 years, but it is awfully good right now. The blend includes 7% Merlot and 1.5% Cabernet Franc in 2009."
