Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is fashioned in a fruit forward, easy to drink style, yet it reveals admirable complexity and length. Aged for ten months in French and American oak, this medium-bodied wine has a deep garnet hue and aromas of pepper, lush black cherry, blackberry and vanilla. The rich black cherry and plum flavors are layered with hints of vanilla, smoke, bramble, herbal notes and creamy oak that linger on the palate. The finish is soft and lingering with bold, structured texture and integrated tannins complementing the intense fruit.
The nose shows lovely rosehip, black cherry and black currant, with deep wood and vanilla spice. The wine has flavors of bing cherry and black fruits with a delicacy and finesse that is appealing and reminiscent of the structure and elegance of a great Bordeaux. The full fruit finish, supple, weighty tannins and long finish add to the complexity of this wine.

"Blended with 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc.Beautiful deep red color with perfumed aromas of ripe black cherries, strawberries and roasted cocoa beans. This wine is full-bodied and incredibly lush for a young Cabernet. It explodes on the palate with red and black fruits, then shows baking spices on its way to a mouthwatering finish. Pairs with a wide range of foods including beef, sausages, spiced or grilled pork, veal, rabbit, medium-strong cheeses, and meat-based pasta sauces."

DB4 is meticulously crafted and blended by our winemaking team to create an exceptional wine that can be enjoyed immediately with proper decanting or in the future. The 2010 DB4 combines the expressive benchmark terrior of our estate with a compelling blend of fruit produced in David Abreu’s vineyards: Madrona, Thorevilos, and Lucia Howell Mountain. This wine has been a favorite of our clients since its inaugural release in 2007, as it captures the Bryant Family style at an affordable price point. "The 2010 DB4 is insanely beautiful. Crushed rocks, plums, cinnamon and licorice jump from the glass from this striking, delineated wine. In 2010, the DB4 has a level of pure energy and vibrancy that is missing in the 2009, most likely because it also includes declassified lots from the Bettina. This is a great showing from Don Bryant and his team. In most cellars, the DB4 would be the top wine, but here it is the second label. Top flight Napa Cabernet is seldom inexpensive, but this is just about as good as it gets for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025. " Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 94 Points
The Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made from our 13-acre estate vineyard atop Pritchard Hill, overlooking Lake Hennessey. This First Growth vineyard is meticulously farmed by David Abreu, with whom we have worked closely for over 12 years. This wine is a beautiful expression of our unique terroir and a testament to the dedication of our winemaking and vineyard team to produce the finest possible wine from this site. "Smoke, tar, incense and licorice are some of the many notes that emerge from the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an especially dark, brooding vintage for Bryant. Cassis, pencil shavings and melted road tar emerge later, adding further complexity and nuance. Unlike the 2009, there is little in the way of early appeal. On the other hand, I see the 2010 drinking beautifully for many, many years. There is an underlying vein of minerality that gives the 2010 a sense of energy and focus. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2030." Wine Advocate 96+ Points"The seductive oak has a smooth vanilla bean edge, leading to a rich yet elegant core of spicy berry, mineral, mocha, gravelly earth and road tar. Most impressive on the finish, where the flavors retain their graceful balance and end with a long, persistent finish. Drink now through 2025. 855 cases made. Wine Spectator 95 Points

This wine is to be low in tartness yet abundant in tannins, providing impressions of friendly chock richness. The palate enters rich with sweet, ripe tannins, expanding to a greater breadth of refined textures. The flavor profile includes dark chocolate, sweet tobacco, mocha, leather, brown spice, cedar, vanilla and sweet licorice. The primary goodness of this wine is the presence of balance, with a supple texture, approachable grip and a fruit of the earth essence.
Dark youthful purple color. Nose of berries, cassis and brown spice - expresses crushingly rich, homemade, rustic yet supple characters. Flavors have nuance of ripe Cabernet grapes, cocoa, dark chocolate, vanilla and cassis. The abundant array of flavors is supported by fine grain "chocky" texture. This vintage exhibits a balance in abundant ripe tannins and serious fruit - grape skin extraction and French oak provides a tasting experience that begins delightful, broadens and expands on the palate - a brooding, supple, finely textured wine.Beautifully crafted, rich, intense and powerful, yet supple, graceful and polished, offering a generous core of spicy blackberry, black licorice, wild berry and light cedary notes. Full-bodied and expressive, this is both approachable now and sure to improve for several years. Drink now through 2020. 15,618 cases made. Wine Spectator 94 PointsThe 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection is the first example of this cuvee to include Merlot (about 14%) in the blend. The Merlot component has given the wine a cocoa/chocolate nuance to its black currant, licorice-infused fruit. The tannins are velvety soft and the wine is beautifully textured and full-bodied. It is ideal for drinking now and over the next 15 years. Wine Advocate 94 Points
A brilliant wine, and one of the stars of the vintage, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection boasts aromas of blueberry pie, blackberries, cassis and white flowers. This full-bodied, velvety textured, delicious 2011 is already drinking well, and should continue to do so for 10-12 years. It is a terrific success for the vintage. A rich, graceful style, with lively plum, blackberry, floral, cedar and crushed rock notes. Most impressive on the finish, where the flavors weave a charming tapestry. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2023. Wine Spectator 92 PointsA lovely wine, soft and supple, with a superb tannin structure framing the most interesting and delicious flavors. Blackberries, blueberries, red and black currants, anise and cedar notes all come together in balanced harmony, leading to a long, dry finish. Not an ager, but an elegant Napa Valley wine to drink now and over the next few years. Wine Enthusiast 92 Points
82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 8% Petite Verdot. Our Chasing Lions Cabernet Sauvignon is a sleek and supple full-bodied wine that offers aromas of cassis and blueberries. The palate is richly textured with silky tannins and wonderful fruit density filled with flavors of ripe blackberries, chocolate, mocha and toasty oak. A perfectly balanced and accessible wine that is made to drink well on its own on or pairs well with grilled steak, lamb, strong cheeses and chocolate. Grab life by the mane!
"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderfully supple and fragrant. Silky tannins frame a core of expressive dark red fruit. Floral and spice notes are nicely woven throughout. This textured, gracious Cabernet Sauvignon should continue to age gracefully for another 7-10 years, but it is awfully good right now. The blend includes 7% Merlot and 1.5% Cabernet Franc in 2009." Wine Advocate 91 Points
A big, mouth filling wine, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, shows the personality of the vintage in its intense fruit. There is plenty of underlying structure in this deep, resonant Cabernet Sauvignon. Mint, flowers and sweet red berries are some of the nuances that are woven into the finish. This is far from an easygoing Napa Cabernet. Although delicious today, it should drink well for a number of years. Another year or so in bottle should help the elements come together even more fully. The 2010 is 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. Wine Advocate 92 Points
Montelena's 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate wraps around the palate with serious depth. Even with all of its intensity, the 2009 has a silkiness that makes it incredibly delicious at this early stage. Red berries, flowers, tobacco and sweet herbs all flesh out on the generous, radiant finish. While many 2009s are a bit tight today, Montelena's 2009 Estate is showing very nicely, although it is keeping some cards close to the vest. I imagine the 2009 will start to enter its prime drinking window around age 8-10 and drink well for at least another decade beyond that. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2029. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 93 PointsGood red-ruby. Highly perfumed aromas of black cherry and menthol lifted by rose and spice oils. Suave, pure and vibrant, with red berry and spice flavors lifted by a pungent minty quality. Nothing black fruit about this vintage. Finishes with fine-grained, rather silky tannins and terrific energy. Less forbidding at this young stage than many recent vintages of this wine, and in a distinctly food-friendly style. This wine benefited dramatically from its final months in barrel. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar 93 Points

The 2010 Collecion Cabernet Sauvignon displays darker fruit and a bit more richness. Supple, ripe, and velvety on the palate, it will offer prime drinking from 2012 to 2020. Cuvelier Los Andes is owned by Bertrand and Jean-Guy Cuvelier, part-owners of renowned Bordeaux Chateau Leoville-Poyferre in Saint Julien. The estate is located in the Uco Valley at the foothills of the Andes and encompasses 115 acres of still young vines. The consulting winemaker is Michel Rolland.Wine Advocate 90 Points
Sweet black currant, floral, blueberry, and cassis characteristics emerge from the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa. With medium body, and not the power and depth apparent in other Napa bottlings, it is a more elegant, restrained effort that will be ready to drink in 3-5 years. It should last for 15+ years.
